I've been riding off road for more than 15 years and let me tell you this guys: Most people NEED to leave their big adv bikes in the garage for a couple of weeks and go learn the basics with a lighter dual-sport or/and get proper training with an instructor...

Realmente a dr350 só é leve quando comparada com uma mota de estrada. Tenho uma 350s (sem o e no final, infelizmente) e, embora o motor seja excelente a nível de potência e binário, entre levantar a mota, dar ao kick 350 vezes e eventualmente tentar novamente - as 2t tornam-se muito apetecíveis.
Quando comecei a fazer coisas mais difíceis eventualmente comprei uma rmx250 (2t) e torna-se tudo muito mais fácil. Menos cansativa nos singletracks, muito mais fácil de pegar depois de cair e mais ágil no geral.
De momento tenho também uma gasgas ec300 e não consigo arranjar muitas desculpas para andar com a dr. Só mesmo rally raids ou coisas parecidas - e mesmo assim volto sempre a lembrar-me do motivo para não andar muito com a mota quando está na hora de dar ao kick mais 10 vezes.
Epa pois... kicks já não dá para mim... é mesmo muito chato!
Quanto à DR...opa, comparada com uma EC300 ou com a RMX, é realmente uma moto muito limitada... mas tendo em conta o valor e facilidade de uso (A versao RE, claro), é muito fixe.
É mais moto que uma CRF250/300 por exemplo... e custa 1/3 (mas é velha que doi, claro xD)

Is the Suzuki DR 350SE the most overlooked dual sport on the planet 🤔 have we had the "Unicorn" bike with us all this time without realizing it.? Why did Suzuki ditch it for the DRZ. The 350 SE was lighter and had 6 GEARS! - 6! The suspension has some adjustments. They even put a tachometer on it. Nearly the same horse power. They had the perfect recipe and then changed to a heavier bike with a taller harder seat and 5 GEARS, 👋! Help me understand 😐
I feel you! I have 3 x DR350 and 1 modern CRF300L, and although i love the modern touch of the crf300, with ellectronic injection and brand new everythings, the DR outperforms it in many ways...and its such a basic bike, you can repair it with an hammer and a bit of wire 🤣🤣

Do you still own that WR250R? the bike everyone says is the only possible match for the DRZ400?
