Hi Sam. Are you using that rec/stop trigger on the handle somehow with the pyxis, or is it just a handle mounted on the cam? I’ve been wondering if a lanc plug(from a handle) to a USB-C adapter would actually work for rec/stop… or not worth it. thanks!
@@BrianArtka hey Brian 👋 I hadn’t actually tested it to be honest as there’s no lanc port on Pyxis, but….that handle is usb-c & cables usb-c to lanc…..I will test if usb-c to usb-c works & let you know. That would be incredible if so! Thanks for jogging my brain 🧠
Hi, you did a good effort for not enjoying getting out in front.. May you do an important test for these cameras. To test whether the dreaded "fixed pattern noise" is still apparent. Set up a low light scenario that requires ISO above 3200 with a camera pan movement. Thank you.
@@Warren-g8t hey 👋 thank you loads for your lovely comment! I much prefer being behind the camera 😊 Absolutely I can & what a great idea! This was bad with the Ursa but I think on the pocket FF those issues were due to 8 bit editing with incorrect BRAW settings. I will definitely check as it’s an excellent question & id love to know! @@TheContentShak Personally I use a lot of PL too & I’ve shot 8 talking head pieces this week on Tokina vistas (I’ll put a BTS vid up soon) but I’d rather have all the options that L mount provides & not use it than need it & not have it…if that makes sense? Without knowing a terrible amount about it, it sounds a bit to me that he they’ve added a lot of features to this camera that the Lumix S1H has which is what I shoot with. It would be very very interesting to get a comparison of the two if possible. Obviously the S1H doesn’t have the box form factor like the BS1H but I feel like more people chose the S1H so it would be a good comparison. @@bigleafwoodcraft1453 Hi there 😊 I think a big difference would be the sensor & how it interprets each frame but you’re right…on paper they look similar. @@Artfulscience1 hi 👋 thanks for the question 😊 It can & does happen through HDMI but it’s very rare. Basically if one of the devices (monitor or camera) has a lapse or loss in power the device still receiving power will pulse to find communication.
