On a grady white 1981 open
Absolutely loving this build bro
Well done on getting the transom finished
What's that pinkish or peachy color glue
Great stuff Mack keep it up.
Love the build mate
That’s gonna be one strong transom great work guys cheers
Wow transom looks amazing good job
Keep on doing your thing man! Lookin great
You rock!!
When you're using the fin roller.. try slowin the rolling speed sown a touch and only work it in one direction rather than back and forth. pulls the excess resin and air out of the lay up rather than pushing it back and forth. Looking great though!
Please tell me. Between the layers or glass epoxy or polyester? And what is the glue between the plywood and the transom?
I'm eagerly waiting to see how you tie the new and improved transom into the gunnels and new hull stringers.
I'm doing the transome of my starflite 21 checkemate. Do you think I can do the same fabric procedure you did? They are two 3/4 panels. It won't be too heavy or will it be fine?
Looks really solid boys, you took your time and did it right. Is their any issues using vinyl ester and epoxy resin. Correct me if I’m incorrect I didn’t think you could use epoxy resin and vinyl ester, they do not chemically work together, ?..
Gday mate unc kicked it again and hurt his foot , that is going to be one strong transom and because you did it yourself you have saved heaps great work .
How thick is the transom? How much of that is ply? There doesnt seem to be much glass in there.
Heaps of work 👏🏽
This playwood is marine grade?
Boom
