It is nice to see someone who knows how to put resin down. Those thin foam west system epoxy rollers are okay for some things, but not for holding much resin to wet out glass. Good job!
You have done some really beautiful glass work. I am curious about the volume of resin used. I tried to convert 180 kg to a volume and it what I got couldn't be right. So could you tell how many liters / gallons does 180 kg of resin convert into to?
Hi mate . I am in central nsw and it is difficult to find some of the materials you used. Can you tell me what type of foam you used for your stringers and bulkheads. Once I know exactly what foam it is I can order some . Thanks
Hello Sir! Did you laminate fiberglass in plywood and foam with vinilester? Only used epóxi glue to the panels? Why didn t you use vinilester to do it? Best regards from Portugal
I’m about to start a V19C and I love how you’ve done it. I’ll be definitely following how you did your transom and hull layout before stringers. You must have used at least 100L
Awesome progress mate love your work...I actually just finished up doing a bit of glassing on my boat and then your vid popped up hahaha perfect timing
I have a 81 graddy white 24 offshore.took out 95 gall9n fuel tank ,looked and the forward n aft wall is rotted with the port n starport walls as well .hiw can they be replaced
Great work-but is it worth it? Do you think you can find the same boat in good condition that amounted to your time and labor. Just curious, thinking about buying an older checkmate that needs work. Thank You
You get the personal satisfaction from having done it yourself and you know exactly what you are sitting in when you are 30 Kms offshore . The financial and time cost is not really relevant .
@@AngryMackAdventures holy crap! Dam your laying some material down! Its gonna be strong as hell! I like how you did the floor for the gas tank. Nice touch!
No holes at the bottom of every bulkhead, in order to drain unwanted water from the bow to your bilge pump? That is looking great otherwise. Great job. Your boat will be rock solid.
@@AngryMackAdventures I'm Perth also cheers. You should be able to tell from the profile pic the only place in the world that races those. Hot tip for you when sanding glass and you want to stop the itch, like the wrists neck and face - every part that is uncovered or can get uncovered smash baby powder on it!
80kg of resin so far? Foam stringers turned out great, put the microphone real close in the next video and give them a tap so we can listen to how solid they are 👌
@@AngryMackAdventures Do you realize that giving us an amount of resin used in what appears to be a total weight is totally foreign to the way we Yanks think? 🤪 😵 😬🥴😉
flow coat will be Used at the end to finish the hull when the rest is all glassed in, I’d rather glue to the glass then the flow-coat, just personal preference thanks for watching :)
180kg of resin??? At 40 60 ratio that's 450kgs glass and resin. That's way too heavy. Maybe 180kg of glass and resin. If not then your glass to resin ratio is way over the top likely resulting in a weakened structure.
This boat is going to be bulletproof.. nice job!! I'm watching you build your boat instead of working on mine .. lol
What kind of foam did you use for the stringers and where to buy it???

Very good job!
Greetings from around the globe. Great work. Nice to see you are not cuting any corners at the grinding. Its going to be a solid boat👌
Wood holds more screws than that material.
If you glass in the drainage tube going to the bilge won't it keep it from flexing and develop a fracture in the pipe?
Nice work buddy thanks alot

Hahahah thanks for watching mate!!
I tell you that it is not a good job, that material is not heavy, it is true, but I prefer wood in the transom that material is very weak
Thanks for your comment John. If you have no idea don’t comment. Thanks
OMG How dare you go and have fun and leave us waiting! hahahah :-) enjoy the trip mate and looking forward to the fishing ones for a while
Hahaha!! Thanks Scott 😀

How many rolls of chop and 1708 have gone into the 200kg of resin?

Comming out awesome bro! Im gonna say approximately 50 liters so far! Whats the work time on the resin your using?
Hey Tony! 180kg so far ☺️
Depends on the weather but I’m getting about 20/25 min work time
thanks for watching!
@@AngryMackAdventures 180kg? What??? How many liters is that? Cause im doing the math wrong if its what i think.

Yes that is getting done at later stage :)
@@AngryMackAdventures Perfect.
Your glassing skills have improved a lot since your first boat refit.
Doing a great job mate , where do you purchase your materials as I’m in Perth also cheers for the great videos
Well my dad used 300Gal or 1363.83L on his 38ft lochin, So I'm going to say you have used 88Gal or 400L
One qt and ½ ?
