The intro was Gothic like that because the song is about Aleister Crowley who was the godfather of what we think of as the modern occult.
He dabbled in black magik and dark rituals.
He was labeled the most wicked man alive.

Many a kid from Burbank and the vicinity took music lessons there. It's still there, I believe. Kelle gives tours by appointment, or he did. I knew his sister, Kathy Rhoads D'Argenzio (I am sure she doesn't remember me.) and spoke to Randy a couple of times. He wanted me to encourage my late brother, who was a Jazz Trumpet and Flugelhorn player not to give up. It's one of the most fortuitous things to have happened in the whole Ozzy/Randy Rhoads story as to this day it remains as one of the best examples of Randy's live playing, at least visually. As far as the polka dots, you can also see that on his guitar the fret markers are bow ties. Both of these things are call backs to his days in the original Quiet Riot (which he formed with Kevin Dubrow) and the polka dotted vest and bowties he wore on stage back then. Randy was the best.
