Often times they have friends in and out of room because they are local, those friends who didnt "qualify" are still being house by the friends that did making it dangerous for employees. Owner/Managers need to make revenue and therefore employees end up working for people who are not working (homeless). So many drug deals and pipe smoke on all corners of property. If the homeless actually tried to keep the areas that they live in clean then maybe people and city officials would not give them such a bad time. Tommy should have a go at open mic Stand up. At least he'd get free drinks and maybe he'd find a way out of hell. Tony Hinchcliffe used to live in his car, Ari Shaffir used to crash in the back of The Comedy Store sometimes and currently a really good up and comer in LA called Malcom Hatchet (former kill Tony regular, just released his first album) lives in his car. It's not uncommon. Drew Carey has a good story. He was living out of his car and someone broke in and stole all his shit - he didn’t have damn near anything. Doug Stanhope lived in his car. Jim Carrey lived in his car. Hell even Leno slept behind the Comedy Store for a while. Doug Stanhope lived in his car. Jim Carrey lived in his car. The whole cleaning up an area is a waste of resources. They’ll just move somewhere else in the streets. Please just stop wasting California tax payer moneys, until you come up with a permanent solution. So far it’s a joke they just move somewhere else in LA. We could use that tax payer money to lower gas prices, offer kids better education. Just seems moving them from street to street is a waste and epic fail, some people don’t want help.
