Wow. What an incredible piece of work for how little time he had. You could tell he was rushing, and he still pulled this majestic ass painting out of nowhere. True talent.
It’s January 2020 (close to midnight) and I’m ‘Binging on Bob’ 😊 When he started painting the bottom of the canvas Thalo Blue after painting the sky I was positive he was going to paint a pond or lake scene as reflection. Yeah. Bob threw us another happy little curve ball from Heaven. Love ya, Bob. You’ll never be forgotten....
+Little Barbarian King Yea he would, he's speaking strictly from an artists' point of view,.. where whether mist or pollution, it gives a reality to the way you can contrast your painting, making it more easy for you to realistically tell the depth layers apart.
I don't think Bob needs mercy on his soul, I don't think that man had a bad fiber in his being. I know people are sometimes complete opposite of what people see when the doors are closed, but I truly feel Bob was as peaceful in private as public. I used to make fun of him when I was a kid, I thought he was funny and the happy little everythings were corny to me at the time. Being older and an artist myself, I look at him and these shows now, and his mentor Bill Alexander, and appreciate them so much more and their talent, and to be able to do these in a 30 min block.... incredible.
The guy who influenced me so much I am now an art teacher and have a gallery with almost 700 paintings supplied by almost 70 artists! RIP Bob, God bless and thank you x
He's so gentle with a nurturing spirit. Wish I had art teachers that took a similar approach or just people in general like him that are a part of my life.
I think this is one of Bob's most beautiful and realistic paintings. There appears to be so much detail in the mountains. Even the trees cast a perfect shadow across the path. Each if his creations convinces me that they do exist identically, somewhere In this world.
One doesn't need to pay for therapy when one can just turn on and enjoy a little entrancing Bob Ross time. May Bob's soul forever rest in peace. Thank you, Bob. Good things! 👍
I'm so glad someone started putting these shows up. Bob always talked so soft. You could learn and relax at the same time. Thank you, whomever put these videos up!
Recently started watching Bob again (it’s been years, I haven’t seen him since I was in grade school) and I’m completely obsessed. My husband laughed at me the first couple days, and now he’s right here with me- “what this man does is unreal 🤯”
I like when he said "No matter where you live, nature is still there" because before Bob Ross I never looked at this mountain I always drive by for work but one winter I thought it was the most beautiful thing in the world. Thank you Bob
You knew when he was at peace when he painted and that energy permeated through his painting 🖼 that's why you felt it through the screen it was a strong energy that can put you to sleep. And the way he would talk like very soft spoken it sounded, warm, peaceful and fuzzy like he was reading a book to children sitting by a warm fire place on a cold winter night, drinking hot cocoa while the kids have their blankets on and pjs.
That's when you know an artist is good, the people watching think you're ruining the whole painting then are surprised when it turns out and looks good. I aspire to be that good someday...
Love Bob Ross. For a man to meek and kind is not weakness. We are all called to be "meek and humble of heart." It takes real strength to be positive and to maintain an even temper and comportment. It also takes real true strength to be never say bad or harsh words against anyone in anger. Many people could stand to learn a thing or two from Bob Ross.
Bob Ross has become my children’s favorite!! At 6 and 3 years old, I’m very proud of there interest. This man is way way more than just a paint instructor. Little happy life lessons in every episode! Thank you Bob Ross, your work will love on forever!!!

Then my brother ran to my mother's room and was telling our mother, " Mom you have look at this. A white man with an red afro is painting and he turn the channel on my mother's tv and she wa glued to her tv as well.Sometimes my brother and I would let out a chuckle when Bob comes on because of his appearance. In just over 1 minute, Bob paints a sky. Really incredible. Every time Bob paints a mountain it's just like real. But do i see it correctly? Isn't this the most beautiful mountain Bob has ever painted? Especially in the middle, the higher part. Just a picture. Greetings from Holland.

I watched Bob one time on TV. I'll never forget that painting he did. I always do the mountains the same now because of that episode and the "sleeping little dinosaur" on the mountains ( clouds) So happy that stuck with me.
He always starts with something weird and I’m like.... okay.... and somehow all of a sudden it looks like someone took a picture of and actual mountain...... I mean it looks so realistic it’s incredible!
As a kid watching Bob paint, I’d always say to myself, “there’s no way he’s going to get a mountain out of that” or whatever he was painting at the time. When it came to the end I was always amazed at his end results, almost like an actual picture than a painting. An incredible human being. ♥️

No, it's just God...trying to be Bob Ross.
I hope he’s painting happy little trees in heaven. He was a great man even thogh I wasn’t around when he was alive

i was reading his bio, and I was surprised to know he was a drill sargent. And once he retired he vowed to never raise his voice again.

He’s trained men to kill

Bob paints incredible mountains. He was a truly intimate observer of nature. He really understands these landscapes..
I’ve watched most of these, but this mountain picture has to be the most beautiful yet. Genius
He regularly makes you think it cannot get any better, and goes ahead and proves you wrong
