    Iv wondered if we need to to swap that black plastic thing at the back of the stock undertray over too the vented one. @7:23

      I looked at doing that, but it would not fit or you would have to modify it.

    Also if you fit aftermarket dumppipe you should fit the engine mount. Heard can get oil leaks from.the turbo

      No aftermarket dump pipe, just center pipe replacement done with no issues.

    I love your work. I am looking forward to make my GR mostly for track use. Can you tell me all the things you have installed in the drive train and what are the results in terms of lap times. If you have a track record of every improvement

      Hi, thanks for the kind words. For the drive train I have not done too much. Came with the Torsen front and rear diff. I tracked it after the suspension and pitching stopper install, but the track was wet then damp so not best time. Winter is coming so not sure if I will get back out or not this year. So far the biggest improvement was with the new wheels and tires, almost 2 seconds difference in the summer heat. Yokohama A052 are the best! Car is really put together stock. About to do some more upgrades here in the next weeks. So look for some more videos.

    Very interesting ! I like the idea of the cooling undertray. Would you have the reference of that item please ?

      I bought mine at the local GR Garage in Japan, but here is a link easycars.jp/product/gr-cooling-engine-undercover-for-gr-yaris/ for reference.

    Would that undertray cooling kit interfere with the cusco front power brace?

    Have enjoyed watching your GR mods, can you inform me of the under-panel OE reference, keen to replace mine as already bottomed out on occasion...

      @@razzjp Thanks for your reply, I'm in Japan also but a little country town in the south we are not blessed with a GR Garage, if you know the part number for the cooling under panel you installed would be much appreciated, I should be able to source from our local Toyota dealer.

    I don't understand the advantages of a stiffer pitching stopper? 😔

    • @razzjp
      @razzjp  3 года назад +2

      Supposedly better transfer of power.

    I can confirm that years of energy drink abuse make those 200 and 170nm bolts less painful.
    Also could you do a follow up on the under tray and discuss any oil temp improvements?

    • @razzjp
      @razzjp  3 года назад +1

      Took everything I had to torque those laying on the ground, lol. Since the air flows to the mission and diff I won't be able to really checks temps, but who knows we'll see. Luckily I have never had any diff overheating like some people.

      @@razzjp the oil that came out of my centre diff at 8000km was really concerning, I doubt the vent will help with that although I did read somewhere it should have some benefit to engine oil too - which is what I meant
