    Thank you! This headband was so easy and I felt very excited and proud when I took it off of the loom and finished it. I'll be giving this to a friend and starting another in a different color.

    For the absolute beginners trying this 96 rows was way too big for my head. So when she says desired head size keep in mind that you can measure per say what you want your tightness or looseness to be. I stopped at 70 rows and wrapped it around my head still on the pegs for measurements. But i would start measuring early if youre just starting out and unsure. This project is amazing. I love my headbands

    Very nice. Silly question. Can you make it on a rectangular one…

      You can but just use one side of loom with your choice of peg number.. can’t double knit thei.. it’s flat knitting

    How many rows or inches for a toddler size one? i would love to make matching ones for my friend and her daughter ♥️

    • @RedVampBlueRose
      @RedVampBlueRose 5 лет назад

      The number of pegs you use determines the widths of band, and how many row you complete would be the length. So try making the mom's then once you get a understanding ( or muscle memory) of how to make the project, work on what you would think would fit the child's crown.

      @@RedVampBlueRose I have read that a baby's headband is about 13 inches in length; but that would increase for a 6 month old, etc. Since this more of a turban type rather than a narrow headband, I'd use about 9 pegs for my width, especially if the child lives in a colder climate.

    I noticed you said 96 rows or desired length. Are you counting 96 rows as both types of stitches, the one where you pull the loop thru and the e-wrap or is each type of stich an individual row?

      Kathrynn Steele I would just measure instead of counting rowd

    ? What is the purpose of skipping the fifst prgs?

    • @davidconley3362
      @davidconley3362 4 года назад +1

      Half wrapping or "skipping" them creates cleaner more attractive sides and working in flat can prevent curling with some more curling stitches
