  • Learn how to make this easy twisted ear warmer headband on a knitting loom in today's step by step tutorial and free pattern!
    This crossed turban style ear warmer is easy enough for beginners. We'll knit it on a round loom, going back and forth instead of in the round.
    To add a twist, we'll sew the two ends of the knitted tube together with a yarn needle. The result is so cute and super warm!

    Amazing video!! Just started loom knitting about a month ago because crochet was too difficult for me. Already made a scarf and fingerless gloves, this would be perfect to complete my set 😊

    I'm going to start this tonight and I cannot wait! Yours is the best tutorial I've found. I am curious though about the loom size. The other person was using a 24 peg round loom. I do have a small head for an adult, so I wasn't sure if I should do the next step up from the 24 or why she used the size 24 to begin with?

    • @YarnStash
      @YarnStash  8 месяцев назад

      This headband is made for an adult size so it should work- it stretches a bit so even if your head is a little smaller it should still fit you. It fits my kids and me, so that's all the way from a 5 year old with a pretty big melon all the way up to an adult with a pretty big melon, lol.

    How many rows do you knit on a 36 peg for a child?

    Hi! I’ve made hats with looms before but I’ve notice that it loses shape after time, and stretches out. It becomes loose and unwearable. Are there yarns out there that stretches? Any that you recommend? Thank you!

    Please help! I follow your tutorial exactly, but im not getting that zig zag pattern. My pattern looks the same as the loom knit hat tutorial with the "braids" on one side. I want that beautiful pattern!

      I flipped the tube inside out- keep watching the video you'll see what I mean, the inside has the zigzag look 😊

    The biggest round loom I have is a 40 peg! I hope it works out for an adult size. Anyone make one on that size of loom?

    • @meagantrout2127
      @meagantrout2127 9 месяцев назад

      That’s what size I used. With a chenille blanket super bulky yarn it seemed a little big, but that size was perfect for other yarns.

      I made one for my daughter using a 36-peg and chunky yarn, didn’t fold it over, only took 8 rows. Super soft and cozy, she loves it.
