Hey man, I've been watching alot of your Megaman Battle Network and Starforce videos, and I was just wondering if you could answer a question I have. I've ordered a PET progress pet because it has the best Battlechip Library. But I wanted to get a few more chips to enhance my collection, and then I noticed the Navi Chips. I know you can insert them into Battlechip Gates to unlock the Navi in Battle Network 4.5 and 5, but do they do anything on the PET device itself? Do they unlock the Navi on the PET? Or is it just Megaman you can play as? And is there any difference between the Navi Chips from the Advanced PET? Sorry to throw so many questions at you, but I couldn't find an answer for this. Thanks!
yes I made that! but I have not worked on it in a while. I use nova launcher now, it's not as customize-able, but it's much faster, and less resource heavy.
Mr.Bob.exe I got two questions 1.Can you battle on a progress P.E.T with Advance P.E.T? 2.What is that on the top of the Plug in P.E.T (not in the video) the top part on it...the little flip thing.
1. No you can not battle an advance pet vs a progress pet. 2. The top flap on the plug in pet covers the link port, you'd use that port to connect multiple pet's together.
Hey bob I got my PET and noticed that after a wile megaman looked exhausted he was panting, and his HP was lower than it should be. I can still battle though. Any ideas?
What happened was your sync/sinc points lowered. What you have to do is play chip battle which is the 1st option in the second menu. It tells you what chip to slot in and if you slot in the corresponding chip you will get points. I suggest getting you sinc points up quickly or megaman while become dark soul and you can't move anymore.

Mathieu Prevost ebay is the only real place I've found to get a good price. I paid about $90 for mine back in 2013, and it came with no chips, and was missing a part. (not required for operation) but it seems like more people are collecting now, as a lot of the stuff I bought is pretty rare now.
I just realized that if anyone is also planning to buy a progress pet, they should probably buy the Korean one. for some reason, like half of the menus are in english. has anyone else noticed this or do i just have a special copy, or did i just magically learn how to read some Korean over night?

Im wondering if its able to change the language. While i mainly bought one for cosplay purposes. It seems like a fun game to enjoy, but unfortunately the one i have is in korean. Which i cant read. So it would be nice to turn it into english
Ok because I'm stuck in the third stage where you need to get by that same type of barrier. I know the barrier with horizantal lines you just need to get to a certain level, but these barriers I have yet to figure out how to get by. I've figured out most of the menus, and how to get full synchro so you can double soul/cross fuse. I think the menus are easier to understand on the Korean version though.
Just truer google translating the barrier part in the manual, and it says you have to meat the condition it has set for said barrier. For instance the barrier I need to get by requires me to beat a certain number of viruses(unfortunately it doesn't say how many). When you get to a barrier and it won't let you pass, translate the scrolling text at the top of the screen, and do what it says until the barrier is gone. For you though, you don't even need to go through the barrier, all you need to do is go around it. For the first 2 levels you can go around the barriers to finish the stage.
How to get past the level 3 Barrier to the 3rd area of Medi's Stage? I tried translating but that didn't help much either? Is there any kind of guide for that or something?
I'd say the progress would be your best bet, you can get the Korean version for about $50 new in box. (with chips) and it works with advanced pet chips! (I know the jp version works with usa chips, I think the Korean version should as well!)

Actually, the Original PET was never made into a toy. The Plug-in PET was from Battle Network 3
I just recently bought this for my son and he loves it . I also bought him the proto man pet for his birthday that’s coming up .

Which provides a better overall experience in your opinion? The Advanced PET or the Progress PET? I just want to know before I purchase an Advanced.
Overall, I'd argue the progress pet is much better.
Wider chip selection, Double Soul, and no more shaking to find viruses!

roughly the same dimentions of the classic GBA.

no, the link pet has it's own chip design,
only the progress PET is backwards compatible with chips.
