I have this problem . But it’s more between the achillies tendon and the plantar . And even a sports physio doctor can’t tell me why . Pt exercises make me even worse.
I have the same thing when stretching my hammy a stinging nip the back of my left heel. No pain at all when walking etc only when stretching. Are there any exercises for this?
Hello Thanks for the informative video. Recently and in about 1 week i started to have strange pain in my left heel, like at the very back and bottom of it, the pain is strong but it only happens when either 1- i have my leg in a straight position and i stretch my foot (hamstrings) towards me, so like i can lift my leg up in straight position it doesnt hurt but only when i pull my feet towards me i feel this sharp pain. 2- the second position is when i try to bend over while keeping my knee slightly forward, so imagine it a similar to Squat position, this also gives me the same pain although a bit less strong. I must say the pain is exclusive only to my left heel, the right one is perfectly fine. I have no idea what this might be, im scared its something that will stay with me for all time, i hope it will go away on its own, did you have any patient that had this similar issue? how did you fix it? i do have a Scoliosis if that matters, but it never caused me pains like this and its in a stable angle, i may get back pain after hours of standing straight though. i dont think its related to my problem but i figure i will point this out as well.
@@SportsInjuryPhysio Hello I am having similar symptoms related to the sciatic nerve in the heel for the past 10 days (due to an overstretched hamstring exercise). I have done Epsom salt foot bath, iced, put Voltarene, ibuprofen, heel inserts, etc. Not sure what else I can do as the pain hasn’t reduced. Please advise? Thank you
Very useful, Thanks!

It sounds like your sciatic nerve is causing it because when you bend with a straight leg it will pull your nerve.
@@SportsInjuryPhysio thank you
