- Do you, a friend, or family have a disability and want to become a CDL driver? Have you ever wondered if you could get your CDL with it? Well the short answer would be Yes!! All you need is to pass a DOT physical and you're good to go! There are a few other things to check out as well.

I had a stroke when I was 13 so I walk with a limp and I can drive I drive with my left foot I need a left accelerator and a spinning knob would that be a problem
I'm a amputee below the knee right leg In my Primary doctor today did not won't to give me a Physical... the DOT said I was good but by me having a disability I have to go through SPE in now in stuck... I live in CA Los Angeles any help will do
Hey I’m also a RBKA i plan on getting my CDL later this year and have been looking up on the SPE as well hang in there
please contact your local MVC. also you have to use a doctor that is Certified to give DOT Physicals. Most primary doctors are not.

Might be tricky with one arm. Upper limb amputee and drive auto transmission.
