Enjoyed your channel, learned a lot from you and the comments. In Ohio “Impeding” is a “Fail”. I did not stop traffic in the middle of an intersection. I did however have the yield in one of those large Circular entrance ramps (I75) and at a distance a car was also turning into another entrance from a stop light. My mistake was thinking since I was moving already, the car at the light was far away that I would be all in well before they reached me, tractor and trailer in the lane. I was in but darn, they got to me in a NY minute. Posted speed before the yield at 25. My tester said said that I slowed down the cars once they got behind me. Little confused, thought once in the lane, traffic still a way out, and I was Accelerating Thought I was good, “just a heads up new fellow test takers I was not” I did not know that was impeding. Retaking my driving test 11th of this month after waiting 7 days. I am so calling out everything while driving, watching out for all the was mentioned in one of theses sub- comments by “ Felix” and yea if I have to Wait ++10 min for clear traffic in a similar situation, calling it out to the tester. “Traffic not clear, will impeded traffic if I go, waiting for safer traffic” hope not to get impeding traffic for sitting by a yield sign for a crazy amount of time. I pray it’s not rush hour cause it maybe longer! Just check with you school instructors! Safe drive everyone!

Thank god i thought i had to downshift all the way to 6th gear everytime i was 100 yard from a red light .so i can shift down to 6th stop fully place it in 4th to start back off with.
i needa school here in vineland nj. sadly i work night shift and i cant drive to the school tired. i have to find a closer school that work with my schedule.
I haven't been able to find an answer to this and my test is coming up. Are you allowed to use hand-over-hand when turning or does it have to be the push-pull method? I know you have to keep both hands on the wheel which is why I ask. I'm in PA. Thanks.
The driving test is much harder...if you speed, you fail. If your don't go fast enough you fail. If you change lanes on a curve you fail. If you make any vehicle yeild you fail.
I highly doubt a failure in any of the above is a "automatic" failure imho. Also add to your do& do not listing Do not rest your hand on the manual stick shifter, if you are not shifting, both hands on the wheel Do not shift in a trun or curve Do all downshifting for a curve or hill & b4 you end the curve or start up the hill Do use all mirror and mentioning int your 20-30min road test, that your scanning the mirrors and 200ft ahead just repeat that statement every 2-3mins and during any turns for manual tranny , use engine braking ( this goes back to that coasting statement he made earlier ) for a class B and if you rent a truck try to use a 10spd it's easy as 1-2-3 when turning left or right from a stop sirn/light or non traffic-controlled intersection you need to mention " Okay I'm making a left turn and scanning ahead and ensuring no vehicles in cross-traffic or pedestrians entering the cross-walk" And finally conduct all turns in a multiple run lane situation in the far-most outer lane in that direction of turn Just use common sense and you should past with no issues.
I'm taking my Cdl pre-trip inspection, parking skills and road test on Wednesday 8, 2020. I'm just concern about the traffic lights, because if you driving passing the intersection while the light turns orange it is an automatically fail, well here in Texas. that's I was told. We all know that the lights turns red in about milliseconds ( it feels like it). I'm nervous about that.
In south dakota , the traific lights won't stay green long enough to get threw the interception. Yes I'm complaining. 7 minutes wait and it took you longer to read this then the light was green.
if you're trying to make sure you shift from 8th to 4th to stop at a light or stopsign, is it okay to go well under the speed limit in order to ensure you reach 4th gear in time?
What's really convenient about company's with automatic Trucks is: You'll be taking one of their trucks to the road test, get your official ATM card without even needing to shift a gear. You can worry about learning how to drive manual later. I'm really relieved about that actually in a way. (EDIT) There is a restriction, sonafa B! I'm going to have to take the road test twice now huh
Ama fast learner ,ready to sign up.
Taking one
Your video's where awesome they helped me get my license thank you very much
I take my test on the 8th of July for this school wish me luck
yeah man I'm in a school where we share trucks it's pointless 90% fail rate
Oh! Thanks for this reminder and all the documents needed
I love it when he said..that bs!! I wish I was in your state to test!!

That is correct

Once again thank you

@*rambowzlethal* Actually the person who scored my test says it doesn't matter. I don't know if that varies state to state though.
The driving test is much harder...if you speed, you fail.
If your don't go fast enough you fail.
If you change lanes on a curve you fail.
If you make any vehicle yeild you fail.
That's why America need driver because they don't let you pass your test
I highly doubt a failure in any of the above is a "automatic" failure imho.

Do not rest your hand on the manual stick shifter, if you are not shifting, both hands on the wheel

and 200ft ahead just repeat that statement every 2-3mins and during any turns
for manual tranny , use engine braking ( this goes back to that coasting statement he made earlier )
for a class B and if you rent a truck try to use a 10spd it's easy as 1-2-3
when turning left or right from a stop sirn/light or non traffic-controlled intersection you
need to mention " Okay I'm making a left turn and scanning ahead and ensuring no vehicles in cross-traffic or pedestrians entering the cross-walk"
And finally conduct all turns in a multiple run lane situation in the far-most outer lane in that direction of turn
Just use common sense and you should past with no issues.

Just break clutch in and reset dont have to panic and downshift all the way to 4th

@@KOSHPARZ I'm not sure anywhere else, but in Texas you are not allowed to use manual if you test in an automatic.
Can we change gear in middle of interaction ?
The rules say you should now
