You're welcome. What did you like most about this video?
Great video!
I'm actually located in IL and studying for my pre trip inspection and there is a lot more things that they want us to mention. Like the turbo, air intake, alternator, air compressor, water pump, doors, cat walk ans steps and a few more things. It's quite a bit to remember none the less.
I believe they do that every where but he says you don’t need 100% and gives you enough info to get full credit
Thanks for watching the video! It's always good to know the extra things they want us to mention during the pre trip inspection. Good luck with your studying!
@@CDLDrivingAcademy when will you bring the school to Dallas ?
Brakes and hoses as well and the measurements on the belts under the engine
Is this for new york to @CDLDrivingAcademy

First part of checklist -
In Vehicle / Engine Start was skipped. Was this on purpose 😮😢
There's a whole separate video for in cab inspection. This one covers the outside
Does the video retain to Maryland anybody can answer ?
Thank you for this video Driving Academy; Quick side question; when doing the cdl pre trip inspection at a cdl-a training school, what would the average time length be for each student? I guess it prob varies from student to student but in general how long should someone look into doing their pre trip inspection the first few times? (I ask cause a lot of pre trip inspection videos especially old ones; tend to range from a hour to two hours long so just curious since yours the first I've come across that's detailed and is only 15 minutes long (oh and thanks again for doing it, makes it a lot more straightforward when studying this stuff).
I am in the driving academy and I was told it should be no more than 30mins to cover the whole pre trip & in cab inspection. But I guess it might vary from state to state. I would say the reason why all the old videos you have watched are longer is because of the extensive wordplay they are using. It's too long & it shouldn't be. I wish I could upload the pre trip our school gave us. It's short & straight to the point. 🤷
I heard nothing about an air compressor and that’s an automatic fail in ever state?
A little different from what I was taught at Roadmaster but basically the same
No mention of brake chamber and slark adjustment push rod?
Nope they took it out
Only air brake chamber is in there
They just changed it again I noticed they changed it in September. So I need to go get another book for pre trip. I just need to go ahead and get my road test done for class B fuck the bullshit
I enjoy your video each time you posted them I have interest in learning truck do you accept Nigeria

50 pushups, 50 squats, quad stretches, that'll help promote flexibility to get under that trailer😂
Who knew fitness could also help with trailer maintenance? Multitasking at its finest! 😂
All schools currently do pti as they think is correct. Mixing old way and new way as they like.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about this topic!
@@CDLDrivingAcademy I am in Florida. Some schools stick to the old pti and parking. Other schools switched to new way. Very confusing. True story.
