Man I could watch this all day. Joshua's comedy as he chases a motoX bike. It's a pretty sweet sim. My favourite for freestyle along with Uncrashed. Velocidrone for racing.
FPS should be better, I have a 3070 and handle it fine. Try changing to fullscreen from borderless. Also I found the preset quads fly weird and are too slow. Also they have a ton of drag, and slow down from full throttle instantly. So I made my own. The km/h is not realistic anymore because it shows 300+,but it feels much more realistic to fly
what is the verdict ? does the sim simulate real time flying responces on a windows machine or is hopeful but not yet ? I tried it on Imac / windows parallel and it was laggy .
you can just use your fpv goggles, unless you're on a specialized setup, you can't move your fpv camera so you don't need the head tracking of a vr goggle.
I'm trying to use my fly sky fs i6 with this sim. When it comes to adding the controller it finds the left stick up and down, but the next section is left to right and it won't find it on the controller? Any suggestions?
Joshua or anyone how did you get past the ruins loop church track, it's like bugged my drone won't fit through that tiny window to finish the track, I'm guessing they need to fix it cause I tried every possible way to get that mission complete
theres nothing like trying to fly a simulator wuth a springy throttle stick tryp does use the trigger bytton as throttle which is an ok fix i guess radiomaster all the way tho
That looks super fun. Was JUST thinking of getting velocidrone because I am bored of the Liftoff courses and wished that users could make new stages instead of just new tracks on existing ones. Think I might get this first instead!
I've also tried it and honestly the physics felt really bad to me. The worst thing about them is that you basically have no momentum at all, as soon as you go off the throttle it's like you're braking. The gravity also felt like it wasn't enough. I'm kinda confused JB didn't notice any of that when he tried it out. Although maybe the physics are better in the most recent release, I wouldn't know.
@@BauliFPV physics feel okay to me, all sims cheat air resistance differently as it is pretty impossible to actually simulate. The propwash effect is dialed up to 11 which is what gets me. Feels like you lose 60-80 percent of your thrust when you are in propwash.
Very comical :) - actually watching you play it made me think this game is more appealing especially with the chase parts, I never reached that or never saw. I did 2 hours and felt the physics were not for me.
Okay, I take back everything. I just bought this on steam. During calibration my radiomaster is detected, I can set the axis, and calibrate the max and min, but then the joystick is no longer seen. On the screen where you are supposed to invert, nothing happens when I move the sticks. On the screen of the drone it just spins wildly, nothing happens when I move the sticks. I hit escape and end up on the main title screen with no options and no buttons get my anywhere. had to go to task manager to shut it down. Tried a few more times, same thing. tried with turnigy evolution controller, same thing. Getting a refund from steam. Buyer beware.
Okay, got it working. Deleted the game, reinstalled it. Worked fine. No clue why that worked. Game is super fun, the prop wash simulation is utterly insane though. It is like falling into quicksand. Never had a sim act like that before, you just lose almost all lift when in your propwash. But the maps are super fun to zip around in. Only tried quarry and the alpine one so far. The castle and ruins in the alpine one have some really fun stuff like some very doable dives into open towers or churches for people like me who cant do those insane simulator dives you see all the time.
Ok, so I heard you mention ELRS bluetooth in regards to flying the sim. I had never heard of this before just now, and now I have to look it up (Apparently, I didn't know about this because it didn't exist in the v1.x.x firmwares?) Update: SUCK. Use USB or whatever your solution already is LOL
I think its a really good sim. Graphics are amazing. I had zero issues with fps. The drone physics still need some tweaking though. An accelerating drone can't catch a non-accelerating skydiver? Naw.
A stable, freefly, head down position has a terminal speed of around 240-290 km/h (around 150-180 mph). FPV drones with 5" diameter propellers can fly up to speeds of 150 kilometers per hour. Specifically designed drones can fly over 230 kilometers per hour. A wingsuit flown really well, has a glide ratio of about 2.5:1 (2.5 meters forward for every meter down) A drone will reach max speed in the opposite direction of it's thrust (unless you are running 3D of course) So you would need to be red lining a 5" upside down to keep up with a skydiver in good conditions. Chasing a wing suit is plausible, if you had a fast drone and a high cam angle.
@@atticusfinch5988 what time does it take the skydiver to reach max speed? The top speed of the drone I used in game is like 160 km/h. The skydiver is not head down. I‘m unable to catch him fully inverted, full throttle. Obviously you can tweak the game to go 30'000 km/h, but it should be possible with a realistic setting. They have a drone that goes 250 I think, but I didn’t try. I don’t know, maybe it is realistic, but it feels a bit wonky. Try for yourself.
@@cotillion1687 A year late to the party. I just started looking into flying FPV drones and am getting time in the sim, I used to base jump. Terminal velocity in a stable belly to earth position is about 120 mph (200 km/h). Takes about 8 seconds to reach that if you jump slick (without any suit) in a base jump. A Wingsuit speed I would average around 100 mph. you can adjust that depending on your body position (head down). Usually you want to always go fast so you have some energy left to pull up again if you get too close to the ground. I wouldn't expect to be able to be able to follow a wingsuiter in an FPV drone once they've had their exit unless they have enough ground distance to go into a relatively slow glide (in that case they lose more vertical distance than usual). Once I am comfortable flying the FPV drone I do plan on filming my buddies during base jumps to see how it holds up in reality.

looks like my unchrashed is better. looping cars and stuff
Yea I love this one, I love how when you get close to the ground the whooshing sounds louder…sound design is on point! Oh yea and flying 👍🏾
love the chase feature, would love to see the ability to make a custom chase sequence
yeah I want this for planning drift shots, where you could drive the car and record its path.

mind sharing ur drone settings?
you should try it again if you haven't, those last updates really made the game the best out there in my opinion
You can adjust your up tilt, I'm new to fpv and have been using it for practice
Looks like a great game!! Cheers for the preview JB!
This is a great sim and devs are all hears to make improvements
7:42 Joshua remembering that time his dad never came back with cigarettes
"sir come back sir! SIR!" got me for some reason xD lol and then he vanishes
It is your computer. I am running an Alienware m15 r7 rtx 3060 and have everything set to ultra. No jitters no problems.
I think ill try that sim, thanks Josh.
try looking4 a jump suit -jump off king.... that looks like good fun(to simulate where most of us dont/cant go)
With the updated physics have you tried it?
I tried that simulator and for some reason, it just doesn't work for me. It moves really slow and just kind of looks like a floating.
JB is f*ck funny in this one... Shouting at an inanimate pc.. "Sir! Where you going!? Sir! Come back!! “
the way he yelled at all the men bruh 😂😂🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣
So JB flying gets better as the quad speed increases well done
I have i i5 7600k and rtx 3060 ti, runs really good med/high settings. so definitly the stream...

Hi Josh, Good stuff. Do you have any idea how do I connect my Dji goggle 2 to Tryp FPV sim? I literally can't find anything anywhere. Cheers!
With colder weather coming to the northeast, how do you play this type of SIM on a set of VR goggles?
you can just use your fpv goggles, unless you're on a specialized setup, you can't move your fpv camera so you don't need the head tracking of a vr goggle.
How do I change my flight mode to acro I’m stuck in angle mode
The sim features chasing, but the chase animations are way too fast and erratic.
They've improved a lot. Even the wingsuit divers speed so it's possible to keep up with them all now
@Fret Sweet hopefully they would've by now. Worth checking out again I'd forgotten thanks

Can i use the dji rc for this simulator?

How to I get my TX16S radio to work on this sim
Use the USB cable that comes with it
how can i arm for dji fpv controller?
mine does well then it studders so ill wait for the update
Is there a decent controller under 50$ for this simulator? Really want to try this
mmmm can you make a radio setup for tryp on mac ?

Both
Which controller was you using ?
1:39 The TBS Tango
Should of chased the sky diver with the faster quad
The problem with your grafics is, that you where running in borderless and not fullscreen. Its a windows thing.
Wow bro is that guy ok? The one you knocked of the cliff?
Unreal engine on that sim is awesome
Is this free?

As far as I know CPU rendering for streaming will actually make you loose frame rate as opposed to GPU rendering
Yeah, especially since the i7 and 3080 are a slight mismatch. Probably going to peg the i7 with plenty of head room still on the card.
