I don't like when they have the mom character be angry and yell. It makes my stomach turn inside out and nauseous. I grew up with a screaming and angry mom.
Interesting, I think the opposite is true - and I'm German and grew up watching Alf in German. Hearing the German version now makes me wonder how I was able to tolerate Alf's voice as a kid.
