Actually, frozen vegetables hold on to their nutrients longer than fresh vegetables because it's a form of preserving them. Obviously, consuming fresh farmer's market fruit & veggies are best for immediate consumption but if you aren't able to eat them right away frozen is a great alternative.
@atlsongbyrd6084 I emphasized farmers market because they typically use different harvesting methods. Grocery store frozen fruit is picked when it's most ripe & frozen which is why it's more nutrient dense than non frozen because they pick it before its fully ripened which stunts the nutrient growth.

Fresh is always best tho. I used to think frozen fruit was good for smoothies but I found out the fresh fruit has more nutrients in smoothies as well.

It all depends on the veggie b/c some minerals can be lost in freezing depending on methods used.
