You need to do one on the TPS from gold wagen. You will see that it's the wrong one for the car. I had idle problems for a year. After trying many tps fr gold wagen. Cleaned my old one with electrical cleaner and put it back and the car is fine.
I try to avoid buying anything at GW , there parts always have some problem. That's why it's good to get to know the names of the various makes and manufactures of parts and research them. Hi, so I have the same engine, mine just the chev badge 6w engine, just had my cam replaced along with rockers and lifters, so it's quiet but idling rough and low at about 500revs which is definitely missing. I took off idling sensor and cleaned it and the O2 sensor did not touch the map sensor, was a bit to tight did not want to damage. However it still idles rough and at 500 revs, what am I missing, please help
Hi . It's very difficult to pin point. Everything has to be rechecked , from timing, tps to wiring . Make sure you use original sensors (Mexico) not the aftermarket ones . They work or they don't work in certain vehicles . I had a similar issue , turned out it was a loose wire in the small loom.
I have an issue with my speedometer. Stopped working a while ago. Replaced sensors doesn’t seem to be helping. Any idea what else I can check and or replace?
96 kadett 1.4i..i changed icv from Midas..car revs high and low..disconnect the map sensor and icv then car idles normal..but i can smell it running rich..
Hi Try to get a genuine second hand idle valve . One made in Mexico , it will be a better choice than the ones from the spares shops. Also check your wires and electrical plugs
Where is the co2 sensor on a 1998 corsa b 1.6 My utility is all of sudden very heavy on fuel after a normal service. Spark plugs smell petrol and is wettish, and car exhaust fumes are rich

This vehicle only has one on the exhaust. Rough idle as I always say can be many things. Start at the basics first.

On the throttle body , It's a joined unit . Also check gap and service on cps

One last question, was I supposed to take battery terminal off when I took off the sensor to clean it
@@kieravolkwyn351 no it's not necessary, however after changing major parts or a service interval it's a good idea to do it as it resets the ecu.

That's a difficult one . Check the wiring from clock to sensor. Then the clock itself

I'm having the same problem. I replaced tps, idle and air intake senors on. My problem has been resolved with that.
