Just got back home from visiting Gulf shores. Fished the pier and the lagoon, I had a blast. Visited the guys at J&M tackle and talked about your videos. They were great. Y'all have so much beautiful water to fish. But the Tennessee mountains are still home to me lol. Your videos really helped me get started in salt water fishing.
My friend, You Made Me Hungry!!! Watching you eat that PoBoy Sandwich was almost as good as watching you catch them. I love Flounder anyway you can cook it! Thanks for some great lessons on cleaning too!
I'm subscribed to at least 50 fishing channels on RUclips and this channel has became one of my favorites. I love your attitude and the variety of species you cook.
Not sure how you manage to release a catch clean and cook video every time I'm starving but you do 🤣 Great video man keep it up but remember take time for yourself and family!!
Just wanted to say I’ve probably watched over 50 of your videos the last few weeks and I can’t get enough. Definitely my favorite saltwater channel by far. I’m moving to the panhandle region soon and am definitely taking notes that I hopefully can apply there!
Thought it is bad enough I can fish the waters you are on, but the satisfaction that comes from eating what you catch and cook is even better. Thanks great video.
Man your videos are awesome I was just telling my wife I needed a new flounder recipe then I get on RUclips and here it is! Thank you from your neighbor in Robertsdale!
Keep up with the good videos man. It is evident you put a lot of time into them and I can't wait to see it all pay off and of course I love seeing my home turf in your content
I appreciate the kind and supporting words! It's definitely a lot of time and effort, but it's very enjoyable being able to share my experiences. I'm glad you enjoy it!
Really like your upbeat positive attitude such a stark contrast to mine but always makes my day a little better when I watch one of your videos. Keep it up!!!
Dry the fillets throughly, apply flour and pat the excess off, then dunk in eggwash and drain well then roll them in the panko. The flour helps the egg stick to the fish better which in turn helps the panko stick better. Give it a try see if ya like the difference.
Excellent video! I cook a lot of my fresh fish the same way. With the leftover egg and panko breading, I like to add flower to it, a little almond or coconut milk, mix it up into a batter and make hush-puppies out of it. Makes a great complement to the fried fish and nothing is wasted or thrown away. With grouper, I'll cut up the cheek meat and add that to the hush-puppy mix as well. Hmm, hmm, good!!
Just found you on TikTok and wanted to check you out! This is awesome and I love how you make your vids! Keep it up and I hope to see you hook up some monsters in the future!!
We love your videos and also FLOUNDER. Hard to beat flounder. Fried up the tail is like a potato chip. The part where you got that sandwich ready was torture. LOL
Good job beautiful flounders, good filets, I'm down on the bayou, love your videos keeps the old man going, I use to take my flounders and scale them then cut down center line and filet them to the fin on the dark side then I would make a crab and shrimp meat dressing with a bordelaise sauce in a big sauce pan using creole seasoning, then add some Italian bread crumbs and mix with shrimp and crab meat mixture then stuff both filets on the top side, sprinkle some seasoning on the fish, add butter pats to the top put in oven bake at 350, or punt on grill real good tks for the video from a tiger fan, really like your videos.
Flounders and Trouts and Mullets (I mean the drum species) - I am glad they do have limits on most species of fish in AL.. and I hope people respect those limits - and as usual - you are always humane in putting them out of their misery - or taking care of not touching them if they are undersized - Kudos to you dude - you represent what fishing is about ! And - how to filet them flounder to get most of it of this beautiful fish.. (I would save the head for some soup - I'd rather use menhaden or shads for crab bait - but hey.. everyone its own)
Just wanted to say I'm a new subscriber to your channel and this is the first video I've watched. Content is great and I might have to try that recipe at some point.
I fish in Pensacola bay off of a dock a lot got any tips to catching more redfish or black drum, I use poopin corks with shrimp and live croakers and sometimes crab and I catch I lot of catfish
Hey Hey BSW finally first 😎 Still lovin All your content & Very interested in a half-day near shore trip in th new boat. Gonna be campin down there late July early august. Don’t wanna give my money to any Booking Service. Much rather give it straight to the Boat OWNER! ThankYou again for your Service 🙏✌️🇺🇸
Nothing better than having the young ones fishing! Joe, how can I buy two of your ( 16:46) On Fire Fishing stickers for my kayaks? I want to get the word out about your videos here on the east coast. Also, I think I am putting on weight just watching your catch and cooks!!! ;)
@@BamaSaltwater Yeah I could easily become a fish nut. Love tuna, snappers, groupers (all varieties of both), tilefish, triggers, AJ's, Mahi. Not to mention all the yummie shellfish in the area. Give me a platter of royal reds and some raw gulf oysters and I'm a happy guy! Dang it, I need to move down there!
I have a place farther up the Alabama side of Perdido bay and was wondering what I could use to catch fish up there. It’s very close to the Lillian bridge and I’m a big offshore fisherman but have no experience inshore
Awesome video as always 👏🏽. That black drum you broke off. I had that happen to me about 10 years ago in a tournament 3 times then I started using a palomar knot instead of a loop knot. After tournament I called the company that made the floro(vicious) they said I was probably setting the hook to hard floro doesn’t stretch so it takes less effort and actually recommend palomar or uni with all floro.. Lesson learned thought I would pass it on. We lost tournament by 2lbs. I probably popped off enough to win by 6lbs.
Love your content man. I’m down here near Fort Morgan with my dad and we gonna try to do us some fishing and having a local with us would be a fun experience and possibly make good content. If you’d be interested let me know👍
I'm from andalusia and my wife and I fish the destin bay a good bit. Anyone have any thoughts as to which bay is better? Pensacola, mobile, choctawhatchee?
How about you making a little recipe book for us? You make those meals look and sound phenomenal.

What Cav unit did you serve? I was with 1/5 Air Cav in Nam- Enjoyed the video👍
Great flounder.
Anyone doing the Pensacola Fishing Rodeo this year?
Where were you fishing if you don’t mind me asking? I have a house in gulf shores and love doing some flounder fishing so I was curious
I could easily give up red meat if I lived along that portion of the gulf coast. So many different tasty fish to enjoy.
You and me both! I rarely eat red meat (except tuna) mostly

I live in Orange beach and have a kayak that hasnt been used yet, take me fishing and show me the way!
Sorry 1 more question what would you use? Live shrimp or bull minnows?
Moved to the area not that long ago and wondering where you launched from. I’d love to get some flounder for myself!
Good vid, and the pointer on their ambush areas.
Just dribble, I don't douse the hot sauce-LOL. I couldn't use that much on four Poor Boys.
What basic area are you fishing???
Love all your videos
What do you do for a living
Nice Flounder
looks delicious
Dude I wish I could do what you do great job
You can't not eat a pickle chip when it's there. Looks like a blast!
Good job on the cooking! Mississippi

Nice catches!
I am headed down to gulf shores in 4 weeks. I love flounder where would you go for them? The pier of in little lagoon? Great job

What were the tide conditions?
where's this at? I'm on the mobile side of the bay and sometimes head to gulf shores but have no clue where to fish around the orange beach area
Love your content man. I’m down here near Fort Morgan with my dad and we gonna try to do us some fishing and having a local with us would be a fun experience and possibly make good content. If you’d be interested let me know👍
