Bro, you and Brandon Collier are by far my favorite local RUclipsrs. Y’all both do exactly the style fishing I love. I’m pretty good offshore, but even tho I suck at the inshore stuff, I’d say I’m definitely getting better by watching what you share. Thanks! The only way I get to eat flounder is buying frozen fillets that are probably farmed. Very tasty but kinda soft. Once again you get it done son! He has risen!

Good choice coming in because we got beat up by the wind while out fishing for triggerfish. Got to see the Blue Angels practicing and pulled in quite a few triggerfish that were just below the minimum. Like you did in your last video, landed some decent red snapper, but the dolphins were out and they completely devoured one of the snappers right before we were about to pull it into the boat so we could unhook him.

Tore up the flounder this Friday in Calcasieu lake over here in Louisiana. 2man limit in an hour which is 10 per man. Been since 2012 since I’ve seen the flounder fishing this good. Great catches

Awesome flounder! So lucky! Here in NC we get 2, maybe 3 weeks if we are lucky of flounder season in September. Limit 1 per person per day 16” minimum. And Everglades is great seasoning! Tastes great on green beans too!

Had a great time last week at GS! My kids and I caught lots of whiting, and I caught my first Pompano on a Bama saltwater tied rig. We fished the beach. I miss it already. Two feet of snow yesterday here in northern MI. Thx for all you do!

Been down in fort morgan for two days, not a bite. They finding any flounder in the bay right now?
Awesome day fishing!!! I am coming down to OB in May to fish for Spanish and anything else I can catch off the wall and under the bridge. I have had flounder a couple times at restaurants and it always had the consistency of mashed potatoes lol. Can you recommend a place there in OB that knows how to prepare flounder? I would love to give it another try. Of course, if I catch any, then I will cook it just like you did.
Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants say they are serving "so and so" but are really selling another species or an "imported fish" . Fresh, real Gulf and Southern Flounder is delicious no matter how prepared!
