Got to see the Blue Angels practicing and pulled in quite a few triggerfish that were just below the minimum. Like you did in your last video, landed some decent red snapper, but the dolphins were out and they completely devoured one of the snappers right before we were about to pull it into the boat so we could unhook him.
Tore up the flounder this Friday in Calcasieu lake over here in Louisiana. 2man limit in an hour which is 10 per man. Been since 2012 since I’ve seen the flounder fishing this good. Great catches

I have had flounder a couple times at restaurants and it always had the consistency of mashed potatoes lol. Can you recommend a place there in OB that knows how to prepare flounder? I would love to give it another try. Of course, if I catch any, then I will cook it just like you did.
Unfortunately, a lot of restaurants say they are serving "so and so" but are really selling another species or an "imported fish" . Fresh, real Gulf and Southern Flounder is delicious no matter how prepared!
