2 Record BREAKING Fish in 1 Day! Catch Clean Cook (GIANT Flounder)
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 25 ноя 2024
- I caught two personal record breaking fish in one day and landed my PB fish! With a cold front rolling in, the conditions were perfect to fish for doormat flounder at Sebastian Inlet. These Southern Flounder migrate south with cooling waters. We caught a mix of Gulf Flounder and Southerns, not to be confused with Summer Flounder aka Fluke in the Northeast! Cast netting Live bait in the morning was key and Pilchards + Greenies proved to be best bait for these flatfish. In this catch clean cook I show you how to fillet and debone a flounder. This is vital to make stuffed flounder! I also have another catch and cook coming soon, with the smaller flounder we caught!

Just want to say thank you to all of you! 2018 has been an incredible year filled with some epic catches and videos! None of it would be possible without your support! Thank you!
Super cool vid u always switch up the videos🎣
Awesome video guy's!! What's the name of the park y'all was at?? If you don't mind, I'm in Daytona Beach, need some new fishing spots.
Landshark Fishing those birds are wood storks
Landshark Fishing and they are also really aggressive up in Boynton inlet they attack people it’s attacked me before
Love the videos have always wanted to go down and do a some fishing in your area hit me up if your ever interested in coming up to alaska to do some fishing some day
Victor and Brooke. From catching bait, to cleaning the plate, I’ve learned so much and get more interested every time I watch a new video.
DONT CHANGE ANYTHING GUYS.
keep doing what you are doing. You are awesome, and now I’m hungry. Lol.
Love it love it love it !

Salt life baby!!!!
I'm a classically trained chef at le cordan bleu and you nailed it man. Nice catch, nice dinner and great video. Keep it up.
In Australia we call those birds bin chickens or ibis
They aren't proper ibis' though are they?
I’m Australian and Steve Irwin is rolling in his grave with that comment
Never seen Steve Irwin talk about ibis' befor?
I’m a true Aussie and I call them wild bin chickens
It's an Ibis - here is South Africa we call them Hadada - pronounced 'Ha-dee-dah' fucking noisy birds
I have been obsessed with flounder fishing for 20 years. Now my wife is obsessed.
Thanks for all the great videos. I enjoy yours and Brooks channels.
Tight lines!
The effort in procuring plenty of fresh live bait plus the simple rigging used was the key to the success. One doesn't go to war without bullets.
that straight, PERFECT slice down the middle was so satisfying to see 🙌🏻
Love the way you and Brooke spend time together fishing, cooking and having fun. You guys will go a long way together. Trust me I have been married for 35 years and 4 dating! God bless
I appreciate that you put a lot of effort into your dishes rather than keeping a fish just to half-ass cooking it like a lot of other YT do 👍🏾
First time watching a video of yours and immediately subscribed! Enjoyed it immensely. I’m from NC and have only fished for flounder with live shrimp with my brother. I love to surf fish but rarely catch flounder in the surf. Got most of mine off the pier. I loved your catch and cook. You and your wife have great personalities and it comes through on this video. Thank you for an enjoyable fishing trip and a great recipe!
When do you want to go to Murrells inlet with me I got the boat if you got the time.
Bro that’s so sick

I just found your channel tonight. Been watching Brooke for a few weeks but didn't know you had your own channel. Really glad I found it! I've watched your videos for the last 2 hours!!! I really love the cooks you do. So good to see young people like you and Brooke doing what you love! Looking forward to watching more videos! Tight lines!
Up in Delaware, New Jersey and New York, we use spro bucktails with gulp. Once you feel weight on your line, count to 3 Mississippi and then set the hook. That how we roll up in the northeast
I tried some paddle tails throughout the day, but they really key in on live bait down here! You guys have an amazing Fluke fishery!
Landshark Fishing 6 inch gulp is the way to go, use a trailer up top with gulp and a buck tail lower almost dragging on the bottom, if your stationary cast out and reel in. If you in a boat just jig the buck tail off the bottom. Throw some gulp on and let it rock!

Man you said it spot on. I fish out of southern Delaware
Skinner rig?
I really appreciate your knowledge on these fish. I've been throwing them back due to lack of knowledge on how to clean them. Thanks A lot!!!
Lots of good fishing action. He was easy to listen to when he talked. He didn't just talk to me talking he actually had something to say.
I would have to say that flounder is my favorite fish to eat! Great video thank you for sharing this, I am a new subscriber and I'm glad I found your channel!
We were visiting the keys when I was about 15 or 16 years old, This was way before I lived there, We were trolling along the grassy key bridge on the bay side, I was steering the boat, my dad and his friend were fishing, I looked back and saw my dad's friends rod almost double over pretty much straight back, I got all excited and yelled, FISH! By the time my dad's friend turned around whatever it was let loose and it just flopped up limp, He pulled it in and it was half of a barracuda! The half that was on the hook was about 3' long, Yes I said 3', Huge head it was a big barracuda probably 4 or 5' long while it was still alive of course, We determined a shark attacked the barracuda when the barracuda attacked his lure! The video that you showed half of a fish reminded me of this experience. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos my friend.
larger flounder are harder to cook and should be filleted. I've caught those big door mats like you caught to day, Fun times.
It’s lent and I needed a good flounder receipt. I knew right where to look. Thanks Vic and Brooke.
Coolest way I've ever seen a flounder filleted! Nice vid and nice job.
This is one of the cleanest filet jobs I’ve seen
Favorite salt water fish, and favorite preparation, Well done!
Preparing the fish ,for stuffing, is a bit of a learning curve, but you'll get there.
Flounder are def my top 5 eating fish!
The
Give this guy props. You are damn good at filleting👍🏼
Great job .... I grew up in Fortlauderdale Florida, we used to fish sebastian inlet often for snook, we used to clam there alot. We would camp & clam. Loved the cooking segment of your video.
Brooke is such a beauty..and she loves to fish..man you scored a catch of a life time
Flounder are hands down the best tasting fish to eat.
I wouldn’t go that far. They are very tasty though.
Mr. Walleye says 'hi'.
I love flounder. Need to be 18 in VA.
Dude. This dish blew me away
hahaha it was def different!
Niiiiiiice catches! I would avoid cheese in the mix to give me the full sea food flavour
I never found a fresh fish cooked like this. It should be taste very delicious. Premium food . Good job bro
That was OUTSTANDING!....The catching...the combining of flounder with crab-meat...the cooking....OUTSTANDING!
Imagine being able to keep a 14 inch fluke in Jersey... crazy
Hahaha exactly what I was thinking vs the 18's we need.
I used to fish down in gardeners basin in AC, it's so over fished now with those cheap charter boats it's not even worth it anymore. Real good spot is off of seven bridges road in Avalon tho. I moved to AZ so dont mind giving up my good spot now lol

Oh how I miss fishing down south 🙄. I am a Florida boy/ island boy and used to catch, clean, and stuff, EAT flounder just as you so perfectly showed 😁👍. Nice job friend. God is always good ✝️.

I came along your video and I got to say that this has to be one of the best videos I've really enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing it. Now I'm gonna go get me some flounders 😁👍
I like that you catch, prepare, and cook the fish in the same video.

Wood storks
There bin chickens
Ibis in Australia wood stork in america
That looked delicious. You got yourself a new subscriber.
The birds are Ibis. I lived in Clearwater for a few years. Never had an outdoor cookout or BBQ without them showing up. They are very funny, super intelligent birds and are quite fearless around people. Even with those large beaks, they are harmless and gentle with humans.
Great video. As a fisherman and a cook, I really appreciated you showing us the fishing and your stuffed flounder recipe. First person I've seen do this. Keep it up
Go flyers!! So pumped the season is back on. Let's hope we can keep our streak going. Our team is going to be insane for years to come here!!!
Man you threw away the cheek meat.thats the best part of the fish imo
Said the same dam thing. Waste not want not. Such good meat
kory h totally agree... Use everything else for stock...
I’m from Alaska originally and I would take the back bone of salmon and sprinkle seasoning on it, then throw it in oven. It makes a good finger food to just snack on...
i was going to say that
Yuck!
kory h On the smaller fish it’s a lot of work for small reward, but on most fish over 6lbs you get a good sized medallion... like fillet mignon !!!

Love see you and Brooke great team nice and so people can. Let their children watch.

Those birds are ibis or bin chickens as the locals call them in australia
Those aren't ibis. Ibis are everywhere in Florida, those are in & around Sebastian & they're a type of stork.
The 4th flounder was the size of my first fish on a boat when I was was like 7 or 8
Man! I scuba and have never seen a flounder that big! Amazing!
Then you dont want to see a halibut then.gaint flounder.
@@thelastdracolich1237 Sounds like I do want to see it! I'm always looking for new creatures I've never seen before underwater. That is the beauty of scuba, there is so much variety to see. It never gets old. I'll look up halibut. Thanks, cheers.
I ate Flounder for the first time in 41 years a few times in the last two weeks... what a delicious fish!
Hi Crist missing your uploads , when will the next one be?

Facts
It’s mainly men that fish rather than infants so most wouldn’t know that fact
octuu I am. It worries me when the adult male population are growing mangina’s and needing a ‘safe space’ so they can sit and play video games like a kid.
Bring the cooler to you so that you have more time to fish the tide, but that's a great job
I understand why you like to catch flounder. They are delicious. I love fishing from Sebastian all the way down to Marathon in the Keys. If all else fails those mangrove snapper good eating to. Fla my favorite place in the world to fish because always eat good and have a good time. You had a great day there.
Looking good Vic !!!!!! You were a surgeon with the flounder.

Awesome experience! Real people doing real things as a family! New to your channel but enjoy learning new things!
Those are all so small compared to what we catch up in the north east. Even those "Giants"

Hey Chase Fuckhead. Nobody asked you. Don't be a hater & just watch the videos
carlos ramos lmfao
Southern flounder are the bigger of the 2 founder species in Florida. The gulf flounder, like the “3 spot” you caught is the smaller of the 2 species. On another note, It amazes me how you’ve talked bad about sebastian and how we are “fished out” or “jewed up” but you film your videos here. Kinda conflicted about your channel now. I still watch but it’s kind of hard not to take what you say about our area to heart. I’ve lived here my whole life. Inshore and offshore fished with good days and bad. Just like any other fishing town. Just because we don’t have the “resources and glamour” like your “luxurious” place of residence doesn’t make us trashy or fished out. I apologize for the forward comment but I’ve literally showed the video of y’all talking bad about sebastian and the few dozen people that I’ve shown and watched with me say the same thing. We are neighbors. There shouldn’t be any negative things to say especially when you visit another’s home town to fish the waters we live in. I don’t know. It’s conflicting because I used to enjoy your videos but it’s left a sour spot in my mind. Im still trying to watch because I love fishing videos and seeing other do what they love as well. Seems like you had a good day flounder fishing in my back yard. I will say it was a nice video and very informative for those who don’t get to fish for these types of fish.
Also, when you ice these flounder down, lay them white side up to prevent them from bleeding into there bottom meat as shown in your video. They aren’t very bloody but they will pool their blood to the bottom filets once iced down. Just a friendly tip from one fisherman to another. Plus, THE CHEEK MEAT ON FLOUNDER IS DELICIOUS!! Broke my heart when you threw that head out...
Why isn’t he uploading??? Send help
Flounder is probably my favorite fish because you can do so many recipes with them
Hey bro I’m a legit executive chef and man I gotta say ....You’re food looked really good ...iv only watched one of your vids but you should definitely keep cooking a part of your channel who ever cooked the food did great ...looked way better than other channels I’ve seen.

I wish I’ve seen your video first on cleaning a flounder but I will try this recipe thanks for sharing
I think you did that just right with that size of flounder. Awesome job there.
Nice catches. The stuffed flounder along w/ the entire meal looked delicious. More videos plz. Thanks for sharing.
This was my first time watching your channel and I really enjoyed watching you catch all the flounder, one of my very favorite fish.
I have subscribed and look forward to watching more of your videos.
Thank you for keeping me entertained.
Merry Christmas!
Very nice thank you for showing it on you tube good eating.
I love how wholesome your videos are! I randomly stumbled upon your channel a few weeks ago and I have been hooked! (pun intended).
For a doormat of that size, another pound of crab would have served you well, and you did miss the boat by not putting in chopped shrimp. Other than that, you did good, especially considering it was your 1st attempt at stuffing a flounder. I think the aesthetics of that huge doormat waiting to be torn into was awesome, and well worth doing it once. I do agree, that two smaller ones may have probably been better. But I didn't hear anybody complaining, sooooooo.....GOOD JOB !
I have only just seen this. That is such a days fishing, well done. Colour me green. 😎
Seeing that final stuffed flounder was so good I almost ate my phone , watching the video 👍👍
Those are incredible Founder. Well done!
Super cool. Loved the cleaning and cooking. Made the difference.
Congrats. Those are beautiful in size for Southern Flounders.
