I have been obsessed with flounder fishing for 20 years. Now my wife is obsessed. Thanks for all the great videos. I enjoy yours and Brooks channels. Tight lines!
Love the way you and Brooke spend time together fishing, cooking and having fun. You guys will go a long way together. Trust me I have been married for 35 years and 4 dating! God bless
We were visiting the keys when I was about 15 or 16 years old, This was way before I lived there, We were trolling along the grassy key bridge on the bay side, I was steering the boat, my dad and his friend were fishing, I looked back and saw my dad's friends rod almost double over pretty much straight back, I got all excited and yelled, FISH! By the time my dad's friend turned around whatever it was let loose and it just flopped up limp, He pulled it in and it was half of a barracuda! The half that was on the hook was about 3' long, Yes I said 3', Huge head it was a big barracuda probably 4 or 5' long while it was still alive of course, We determined a shark attacked the barracuda when the barracuda attacked his lure! The video that you showed half of a fish reminded me of this experience. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos my friend.
Up in Delaware, New Jersey and New York, we use spro bucktails with gulp. Once you feel weight on your line, count to 3 Mississippi and then set the hook. That how we roll up in the northeast
Landshark Fishing 6 inch gulp is the way to go, use a trailer up top with gulp and a buck tail lower almost dragging on the bottom, if your stationary cast out and reel in. If you in a boat just jig the buck tail off the bottom. Throw some gulp on and let it rock!

I really love the cooks you do. So good to see young people like you and Brooke doing what you love! Looking forward to watching more videos! Tight lines!
First time watching a video of yours and immediately subscribed! Enjoyed it immensely. I’m from NC and have only fished for flounder with live shrimp with my brother. I love to surf fish but rarely catch flounder in the surf. Got most of mine off the pier. I loved your catch and cook. You and your wife have great personalities and it comes through on this video. Thank you for an enjoyable fishing trip and a great recipe!
I would have to say that flounder is my favorite fish to eat! Great video thank you for sharing this, I am a new subscriber and I'm glad I found your channel!
I used to fish down in gardeners basin in AC, it's so over fished now with those cheap charter boats it's not even worth it anymore. Real good spot is off of seven bridges road in Avalon tho. I moved to AZ so dont mind giving up my good spot now lol
Great job .... I grew up in Fortlauderdale Florida, we used to fish sebastian inlet often for snook, we used to clam there alot. We would camp & clam. Loved the cooking segment of your video.

I came along your video and I got to say that this has to be one of the best videos I've really enjoyed. Thank you so much for sharing it. Now I'm gonna go get me some flounders 😁👍
Oh how I miss fishing down south 🙄. I am a Florida boy/ island boy and used to catch, clean, and stuff, EAT flounder just as you so perfectly showed 😁👍. Nice job friend. God is always good ✝️.

Great video. As a fisherman and a cook, I really appreciated you showing us the fishing and your stuffed flounder recipe. First person I've seen do this. Keep it up
The birds are Ibis. I lived in Clearwater for a few years. Never had an outdoor cookout or BBQ without them showing up. They are very funny, super intelligent birds and are quite fearless around people. Even with those large beaks, they are harmless and gentle with humans.
Southern flounder are the bigger of the 2 founder species in Florida. The gulf flounder, like the “3 spot” you caught is the smaller of the 2 species. On another note, It amazes me how you’ve talked bad about sebastian and how we are “fished out” or “jewed up” but you film your videos here. Kinda conflicted about your channel now. I still watch but it’s kind of hard not to take what you say about our area to heart. I’ve lived here my whole life. Inshore and offshore fished with good days and bad. Just like any other fishing town. Just because we don’t have the “resources and glamour” like your “luxurious” place of residence doesn’t make us trashy or fished out. I apologize for the forward comment but I’ve literally showed the video of y’all talking bad about sebastian and the few dozen people that I’ve shown and watched with me say the same thing. We are neighbors. There shouldn’t be any negative things to say especially when you visit another’s home town to fish the waters we live in. I don’t know. It’s conflicting because I used to enjoy your videos but it’s left a sour spot in my mind. Im still trying to watch because I love fishing videos and seeing other do what they love as well. Seems like you had a good day flounder fishing in my back yard. I will say it was a nice video and very informative for those who don’t get to fish for these types of fish.
Also, when you ice these flounder down, lay them white side up to prevent them from bleeding into there bottom meat as shown in your video. They aren’t very bloody but they will pool their blood to the bottom filets once iced down. Just a friendly tip from one fisherman to another. Plus, THE CHEEK MEAT ON FLOUNDER IS DELICIOUS!! Broke my heart when you threw that head out...
