@@sloanvalve Thanks for releasing this video to the public. As a mechanical engineering student, working on a water conservation product, it was great to see how the inner-workings of a flush-o-meter operation and especially the solenoid.
I'm dumb, can anyone explain to me why the diaphragm closes? Why doesn't it stay open, since water is continuously rushing through as soon as the lever is activated?
Inactive I don't understand it either... please someone help our souls and answer this question.
During the flush, with the
pressure created in the valve body, the upper chamber fills through a small
bypass hole in the diaphragm. This refilling of the upper chamber slowly
forces the diaphragm down to close off, against the flowing water into the
fixture.
David New that’s the sound of the solenoid valve being de-energized and allowing the water to rush through
Is it battery or transformers

@@sloanvalve it was only a question not an issue lol
Hi sir u have mor vdos please sand me
I hate sensor flushers. They always go off when you're still on the toilet.
Random Stuff In Oregon who doesn't hate these?
And fail when you're ready to flush
In 2014, the company has been fixed a sensor issue and it will be flushed until you step 6 inches away. And when you sit on a toilet, it won’t be flushed. Trust me.
The worst ones are the ones that make motor noises when activated, regardless of flushed automatically or manually.
Zurn Aquaflush I hate it
Left out alot of details
