Oh and I looooove Laksa. I found a very good Laksa place in Tokyo, but it's not as good as having it in Singapore. Warm greetings with full support from Bangkok.... Thomas
I've never eaten anything inside Queensway SC, mostly go there to buy stuff. Know there was laksa, didn't know there were two of them. But yes, the color look so pale. I'm glad you put that dollop of chilli.
thislaksa stall isso so lah thebest aksa was run by 2 bothers at th junctionof ceylon/east oast roadut o sadly thethveretired each bowlofthebestaksaevercost $5 each but so damnyummy
Interesting this Katong laksa is located in the west (and not Katong 😀) ..... understand queensway is the original Janggut Laksa branch, there's another one at Chinatown Point where I tried once before as well
I think Gordon Ramsey may never know the secrets ingredients of most major Singapore 🇸🇬/Malay foods served in hawker food centres in Singapore 🇸🇬, or Malaysia 🇲🇾! Sian
Hmm.. another janggut laksa. i wonder which is the original. the one at east coast or this one in queenstown or paya lebar? all claims to be the original. no such thing as original now i guess.
yeah, nothing is original anymore. Even if it was the same shop, taste may have changed. Practically everyone is cutting corners on ingredients or to raise productivity here it is outsourced or purchase ready made ingredients. Original only in our memories.
Great memories! Not so much for laksa but all the sports shops and spectacle shops in the 80s
