You need to test for nitrate in the tank fairly regularly and keep the filter clean.Goldfish are big eaters like you said and cause lots of ammonia and nitrite which the filter will take care of but nothing really gets rid of high nitrate more then water changes .High nitrates lead to green algae which you have and also Black beard algae.
Get your self a blue eyed lemon Bristlenose pleco in the tank and your have no green stuff growing when the sun hits the tank as it will eat in all up for you. 😁
Wonder if you can help I have a glass topped tank indoors as with the air stones they cause water marks on it , do u know of anything that can clean these off , and clean the glass better as it makes it looks untidy in my eyes .
Love your channel but ceramic media is not great at all please I know your sponsored by mountain tree have you looked at it under a microscope ? or tested it ? I have done both and can personally vouch ceramic media is not good as a biological media at all. Don’t ruin your channel your brilliant and entertaining and inspiring
