hi all !
i have just received my Henry Numatic vacuum...
the dust bags look washable, are they ? so after emtying a couple of times i can just wash them and reuse them ? i don't have to throw them away and buy new ones unless they get seriously damaged and bad quality, correct ?

Are you sure the filter can be washed or is it only the one that comes fitted on the Micro version? My filter is the standard one and has a label saying 'DO NOT WASH'
They say not to wash the modern tritex filters in Numatics, though I can't see how water would harm it. I'd say if you plan on buying a new filter anyway, give your existing one a wash first and see what happens
Hi Guitarplayerforu, Helen does say in the video that you can wash the bucket filter with warm water but always follow the guidelines of the manufacturer.
I am unsure which way the filter grid should be inserted? Could you please demonstrate?

How do I fix the inner contact ring on my henry on the motor any advice I would be obliged
+Inside Man The contact ring (depending on model) can be replaced but we do not have information on this. Looking at this part: www.espares.co.uk/product/es509386 it looks like the contact ring has tabs that push through and lock in place.
I put my henri in the washer at the local laundrette and it didnt fix the no sucking issue.A good thing happened tho,a wheel fell off so i thru it away and got a vax...Nice video...Thanks

the pipes and the cleaning head on my henry are stuck together - anyone know how to free them apart?
Hi Jayne, try warming them up with a hair dryer as this can soften and expand the plastic helping them release.
on my henry extra filter it says do not wash!
I called Numatic and they said we say do not wash the filter
Does this machine suck up water?
+bigp500pb NO. Most Vacuums use the air drawn through the machine to cool the motor and moisture would cause the motor to fail. Wet and dry Vacuums have an extra fan to cool the motor and the air drawn through will be vented away to protect the motor.

You are not supposed to wash the bucket filter.
+OfficialGinger Biscuit Thanks for your comment. We had already an annotation at the bottom of the screen saying 'Please note: Newer models have filters that cannot be washed. These must be replaced.' We have now moved this to a more prominent position to avoid confusion.
motor problems get a new Lid

How do you mean Thomas?, if you are suggesting replacing the whole motor assembly they are not available complete.
I ment find the model of the animatic and lid model and buy a complete set
