    You're so young to be such an Elvis fan. My sons are fans, too. And none of you are old enough to have ever seen him in life. THAT is staying power and more proof that all men are not created equal. No one will ever take the crown of that beautiful King.

    George Harrison and ringo were backstage at the MGM GRAND. And there were a lot of famous celebrities there when in comes Elvis with one of his famous outfits on and those amazing sunglasses on. The conversations stopped and everybody looked at Elvis. Ringo asked George Harrison " do we talk to Elvis first or do we wait for him to talk to us" these 2 Beatles had just come off a world tour and were superstars. Ringo says to day that no entertainer had the presence that Elvis Presley had . The KING . changed music forever

    Every concert that I went to see Elvis he did this song at the end of every concert. I saw him three times in Greensboro, Fayetteville and Greensboro again. I had tickets to go to a show in August but it was after his death. I was completely devastated for one entire week. I would not go to school, I would not eat, I would wake up crying, and go to sleep crying. His death hit me harder than anyone that I can remember even in my own family. I know that's bad to say but it's true.

She visited Graceland with me back in 1996. He had such a beautiful voice. The greatest smile ever. Miss him so much, but I’ve been listening to Bob Joyce. Oh, my, he sounds just like Elvis. He’s the same age Elvis would be too. I think he could be Elvis. I could see why Elvis would have staged his death. No one would have ever let him alone. He was very religious too. Maybe that’s why. He heard God calling him into the ministry. Maybe Lisa is alive too.

      After forty years in the country music business first as a roadie and retired on the booking end working shows that HANK SNOW DELL REEVES BOBBY BARE EDDIE RABBITT and hundreds of others but never with ELVIS, Anytime he was due to be in Nashville there was more security than the governor had he stayed at the KING OF THE ROAD HOTEL back in those days and we knew it was him because of the best studio players would be at the studio, I worked for sound seventies and we did the advertising for the acts when on the road I would drive ahead to each town city and put up posters flyers and free records to the DJs this was before fax machines and computers I met most of them by showing them the advertising and get their ok, EDDIE RABBITT was the best and DAVID ALLEN COE was the strangest and craziest act I ever did, I would love to seen him and ELVIS together, The day he died I was going to do a BAD COMPANY show and heard it on the radio after I got home the next day my girlfriend and two of her friends was watching the news and crying their eyes out over his death,as I drove to 16th avenue I noticed something very unuseal on lower broad their was no music being played no jukeboxes no live just an erire silencie,The only time I can remember something like that is when JFK funeral .

    For a poor boy born and raised in Miss. he sure could perform on stage. One of the top 3 performers that ever lived. One of, if not the best singers ever. He had a great band to support his manner of singing and was the second best thing about one of his shows. It was too bad that he developed his drug habit that ultimately killed him. I don't know if he could ever have gone further on stage as it seemed that he had given it his all and was ultimately in decline near the end. He had the strongest and best voice quality of any singer I have ever heard. Nobody currently performing does it as well as he did.;

      Phil... You said it better than anyone could've summed it up. Elvis was unbelievable in every thing, every way, every single thing I can mention. He was a beautiful, God-loving, naive, even innocent-like, but overwhelmed, over worked, never complained, and really gave 2000% of himself at shows, on stage, in life! He lived harder & gave more of himself than anyone I can dare to compare (and there are many, many beloved entertainers & people on my list of awesome beyond belief)... But Elvis was, in my opinion, if I didn't know better because of his imperfections as a human & errors of certain choices, & being simply, A MAN, I would otherwise swear he was an angel sent by God to teach us all something we'd not have otherwise witnessed if he'd not been born... 💫 And that is love, respect, unselfishness, and never being embarrassed to say Jesus is The King in front of his audiences.
      In fact, I still in fact believe he was an Angel in "disguise"... as most are. Whether Im wrong or right is irrelevant. In my heart, he was an angel on a mission...
      Its almost as if he knew when his mission began and he worked harder at it than imaginable, to the degree that he killed himself doing his job for us all to learn something from him, but he wasn't truly aware he was an angel, only that he had a mission to humanity... And he took it so seriously that he stretched himself beyond the point of no return.
      That's the only way I can describe him. 💞
      Look how loved he was. Yet, he really didn't have a clue how loved he really was... He didnt get it. He was just a man in his way of thinking... Simply a man, who loved to make ppl happy with his gift, that beautiful voice & looks to match. He loved music so much, think how he was self taught. Never took singing or voice lessons or piano lessons. He simply had a gift he lived so much he honed in on it & perfected it with continuity; day in & out since the day his sweet momma got him that guitar for his BD. What a smart mom. Unfortunately she saw that very craft drawing him farther away from her by the gravitational pull of his adoring fans, even since high school...
      What a beautiful life story ending so sadly.
      Nobody can ever insult Elvis in my ears. I see nothing but good in that man.... That Angel. 💭❣️💌☄️🌠⚡🌪️🌬️⛈️🌈⌛🎀

His presence was powerful stated his cousin Billy Smith who was around him all the time ... You could sense and feel this mystique and aura about him even in Graceland ... And Cousin Billy Smith still admires and still is the biggest fan Elvis had ...

    Honestly I can't enough of Elvis. Most of my music that I listen to on my phone Elvis songs. It's quite insane cos I was like Lisa Marie when he died. So I didn't really listen to his music but I heard it on the radio. I do recall the day he died. I live in South Africa and the news headlines read something like this. " Ladies and gentlemen, the king is dead. Elvis Presley has died... I remember my older sister crying and I also felt really sad to hear that he had died. But I was still a bit young and didnt think too much of it at the time. But now years later I can't seem to get enough of his music and movies docs. It's quite amazing. What an amazing human being he was. I really feel sad now that I've got to know Him better. Really wish hadn't died. Nice to see such a young man as yourself show such interest in Elvis. Clearly you know talent when you see it. Clearly he was unique almost angelic. He had something special that I have never been able to see in any other celeb. He was more than the full package. He was extremely blessed by God for never being ashamed of his faith and showed great respect for God. Thats why he would pray before a show and also tell people there is only one KING and His name is JESUS. I believe that's why to this day know one has ever been able to fill his shoes because GOD honored his humility and granted him great favor with GOD and with man.❤

      ‘Impossible Dream’ was a pretty good song. He dropped it form his song list in 1972.

    No-one will ever do a better version than ELVIS`s " I Cant Help Falling In Love With You"masterpiece...i thought Willie Nelsons redo of "You Were Always On My Mind " was a wasted attempt too.Sold like hot cakes but wasnt better.No-one will ever do a better "Its Now Or Never".Elvis had the most powerful male voice in rock history and the look.I catch myself idol worshipping here.Jesus is #1.And Elvis would agree

      Its a shame all these events werent filmed...but you know they recently found the oldest film of Elvis performing and its in color...Theres an actual photo of Jesus Christ too...full facial,front and back of him rising from the dead...see "Holy Shroud Of Turin" Every detail

    Huge Elvis Fan I know everything there is to know & been to Graceland made it back in 2016 right when they will still finishing the 🆕 Hotel Guesthous. Everything except one thing that I have never seen anyone ask Billy Smith while he's still Alive cuz that's the closest answer and reveal we're going to get today to the reason why Elvis never Sang "Always In My Mind" Live on stage & performed on any Concerts ever or TV Live specials 🎥.
