I got glitched way too many times in that exact same spot! There is a way to lay down right when you spawn and get out, but by the time you get out you'll prob get killed.
The way you get out of the spawn glitch is by crouch walking. Also if you have the Ray gun, you do get dead silence but you're also on the map for everyone to see
Heads up to you and anyone playing this mode, if you kill the raygun guy and die as you kill him you can spawn in without it which completely despawns it making it a regular game of free for all

They should have made it that only kills with the raygun count against your score to make the raygun more important in the game mode

If you're stuck in that spawn on sporeyard just go prone and wiggle it just a little bit.
It feels like the spawns are even worse than usual, I keep spawning and a second later someone pops up right behind me.
