- The extended race highlights of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship season finale in Bahrain.
The FIA World Endurance Championship is the world’s premier international sportscar championship, contested over seven rounds across North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. With multiple cars across three categories (Hypercar, LMP2 and LMGTE Am) all on track at the same time, the WEC is a sports car extravaganza that offers action, overtakes, excitement and entertainment for fans worldwide.

Considering how good the pace was in the car and the drivers, I'm surprised this was their first win. Really excited to see what they do next year.

Great to see the Iron Dames on the top step finally. This is what I would consider truly inspiring and showing that women in the top motorsports can be successfull without any quotas or artificial pushing just because of gender. Respect!
After Lilou Wadoux's historic first win in Spa, the Iron Dames win and Doriane Pin's revelation of the year, they don't have anything left to prove.
Respect for the ladies, but do you really think the dames would have won the face against the corvette, if they did not won the championship already? Think about the season till Monza.
@@jenslehmann677 maybe, maybe not. Does it matter? As long as the dames didnt get a specific BOP to help them, they won the race outright and that cant be faked by some "feminist agenda" or something. Thats what I have respect for. I wouldnt be so sure, that the vette let go, because they already got the championship. True racers always want to win, especially as a nice sendoff to the programme. I guess they didnt send it as hard as they could have but still wanted to be competitive.
Its just WEC dont get it twisted. Anyone with decent driving skills can do this.

Gonna miss Corvette in the WEC and it was a fun ride, but their involvement in this championship gained it a new fan, especially with their dominant championship win.
They will be back with 2 cars next year
It's only the factory team that is closing up shop, there will still be customer teams racing with Corvettes.
@@ninetailedfox579121 The factory team isn't even going away completely. While we won't see them full time in the WEC (though hopefully at Le Mans) the factory team is coming back to the States to become a two car team in the IWSC.

Ferrari did really well in their first year back in the Prototype/Hypercar class. Winning Le Mans 24h and many podiums and pole positions, that was a great effort considering that this car didn't even exist one year ago. Ferrari will be back even stronger next year. You can count on it! Forza Ferrari! 💪

This was a great race… Toyota absolutely annihilated everyone, but Ferrari & Jota battled for like 6 hours straight.

This season has been a lot of fun and a massive step up for WEC. Still waiting for the Hypercars to take the fight to Toyota, can't wait for at least 3 new Hypercars next year! LMGT3 too!

The Porsche and Ferrari side by side are two of the most beautiful cars i've ever seen. This generation of car is stunning.

Bahrain has had some amazing races across numerous categories over the last bit years. History no less with the departing GTE cars, but you couldn't end it any better with what Iron Dames did. This place always has great competition time and time again.
Its important to keeping all categorize develop and grow well next year or even next decade to build the future progress,,❤❤

That was fantastic Everybody you all Winners I hope you all do a great job for this 2023 season I will missed the GTE and LMP2 and we got New Hypercar and now GT3s and i will see at Lusail International Circuit In Lusail 🇶🇦 in February 2024.

I am so happy that the Iron Dames finally took the first step of the podium... they have been so close so many times, but I cannot think of a better way to send off the GTE chapter than by opening the new book of FIA all-female wins! It feels auspicious.

Congratulations to the Iron Dames. I was rooting for them throughout the Le Mans 24hr race. The guy changing the tyres was a lot cooler than those burning brakes. They just changed the wheels and sent them off again.

The 2023 season was exciting. Hoping for a good one this year as well. Now let me point out a few things about the highlights. It's good you started posting highlights of all the races. A few suggestions to make them better. The videos focus mostly on the hypercars. I get the fact that they're the fastest, but he videos need to be balanced a bit more (between the hypercars, LMP2 cars and Innovative cars like Hendrick Motorsports (for Le Mans) and the GT3 cars). But overall, great work!!!!!
One question: Why dis all 4 wheels got locked at the caddy at turn 1? Don't they have abs on board?

I'm so sad for the wrt 31, they've deserved the win for multiple races this season and it just never goes their way...
Yeah.. #31 WRT has a lot of unlucky stuff this season. Frijns was quite deflated and said he's pretty much done with the season at some point. They have the pace but lady luck is cruel sometimes.

Some updates but BoP in major part. They have more pace from Fuji, so yeah BoP.
@endriz10 definitely not BoP considering it was even more NEGATIVE in Fuji compared to the previous race in Monza (where it was simply slow), and now in Bahrain a bit positive losing 7kg, but it impacts very little overall, so yeah, definitely updates, and not BoP ;-)
Ferrari vs Toyota 2024. Ferrari doesn't want to be helped, it wants the same treatment. Same kg of ballast as Toyota. The horsepower taken away from Ferrari also took away from Toyota. Quantity of energy for Stint at Toyota also at Ferrari. These two teams are able to compete on equal terms, the others will be able to get closer with the BOP
How about letting the best car win, that is dropping BoP for good?
You can have the same kind of BOP but then it will all come down to how good the cars' fundamentals and by looking how Toyota able to babied a medium tyre while Ferrari had to go with hards just to be able to maintain the degradation it will still be in Toyota's favour.
Not to forget to mention many other factors like good strategy and drivers who actually know their job to drive clean & see the bigger picture and not trying to take out your sister car.
@@AbrahamArthemius Everything you wrote is correct. Ferrari needs to improve on many aspects. After Le Mans they gave Ferrari the same ballast as Toyota, took away 7 horsepower from Ferrari, gave 5 horsepower to Toyota, and reduced Ferrari's energy per stint by forcing it to make an extra pitstop (than Toyota) in a race. Isn't Toyota the reigning champion and Ferrari the challenger? BOP should have been backwards, or not? It seems to me that it was like this for the other teams....
@@skyhigh6089 Would be great. Same minimum weight. Same maximum horsepower limit, Same amount of Energy per Stint. Whoever has the best drivers, the most reactive team, whoever has the most efficient car, wins.

BoP means Balance of Performance, it doesn't mean "let's castrate one or two teams and make some others unstoppable": if these are the outcomes than they should get rid of BoP altogether.
