@perfectman3077 Toyota have also raced the car for years longer than anyone else, they would still be ahead if they had a worst BoP. BoP is making the maximum pace of the cars equal, and Toyota can get to that maximum pace while other teams are struggling, yes I would say Toyota do have a better BoP and BoP wasn't going to be perfect this year (everyone knee this, they have 4 types of car to BoP in the Hypercar class) but you can't just say they paid off WEC to get the best BoP. If anything Ferrari did that for Le Mans and I don't mind Toyota actually being slightly better this year because it has rewarded them for being loyal the last 5 years to WEC when basically no other manufacturers were. Also Ferrari struggle in lower temperatures because they struggle with tyre warming and with no tyre warmers they haven't done well (surprising the only race they won is the one we're tyre warmers were used), Porsche had decent pace especially the Jota but was down on top speed so struggled overtaking but in clean air was lapping on pace with the Toyotas. Caddy had their problem at the start and Peugeot and Vanwall just have bad designed cars and no amount of BoP will really help them.

I just wish Stevens in the JOTA Porsche had been closer to this scrap rather than being so damn conservative on his tyres. Especially because the pace came to him much too late in the stint and he threw away such a good opportunity to get back at both Ferraris in one corner. That was the most frustrating part to watch.
Except Fuoco deserves the win way more than Gio, Gio has been one of the slower drivers this year and Fuoco being one of the fastest. 2 poles and a 6-1 qualifying record to Pier Guidi.
