I watch the opening hour or so, after that I have it open on my second screen to watch it on the side while doing other work. 6 hours of continuous watching with full focus is indeed very long.

Does the GTWorld RUclips channel broadcast the 24 Hour of Le Mans or WEC apart from it's specific GT based racing series?

No, GTWorld is by the SRO, Wec/24 hours of lemans by the ACO. Different organisations :)
24 hours of lemans / WEC can be watched trough local broadcasters or by buying a pack on their website/app

I have a (probably silly) question tho, since I am completely new to this series. Looking at the table at 6:58, why are "Proton Competition" and "Hertz Team Jota" using Porsche cars to race? Is it just like in F1 that e.g. Haas is using the Power Unit of Ferrari? Or does it have to do something with "LMDh" and "LMH"?

Yes they are Porsche customer teams

They can't or don't want to build their own cars, so they bought a ready to race car from porsche, they are exactly the same cars as the porsche factory team.

this doesmt have anything to do with LMH or LMDh, both types of cars can be offered to customer teams.

Great video! Watching the 24 hours of Daytona with some friends earlier this year brought me into IMSA as well, although I still don't really understand their system yet. Video idea: Maybe an IMSA guide for beginners? Just a (maybe) fun suggestion, don't feel pressured haha
