I was never able to ride this ride before but it looks fun. Once Mario comes to Epic Universe after a few years I’ll go once the crowd has died down a little bit.

It’s definitely something you have to experience in person!

Fun fact: Mario wasn’t the first video game character to appear in the Universal Parks, as Crash Bandicoot used to appear in the late 90s until 2012, with plans to give him his own ride until Sony said no.

I do wish we had gotten the Yoshi ride or some other second ride in Universal Studios Hollywood's Super Nintendo World, but I understand there are space issues at that park.

I was impressed with Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge because if you turned off the screens and the visor effects, you'd still have some immersive sets and physical elements. Whereas some other interactive rides, like Disney California Adventure's Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure, would just be a tour of a hallway if you turned the screens off.

I can't understand how someone would be mad that the Mario Kart ride isn't fast. like, are you gonna speedrun your way through? good luck playing the game then.

my thoughts exactly. In order to have the immersion/gameplay aspect of the ride, you can't be whizzing around at 40 mph. It's just not feasible.

I think the Mario kart ride has tons of missed potential why can’t we change modes for the ride like in the games? Why not a battle mode where we can compete directly with other riders, why can’t we integrate our save data from our Mario kart games on our phone or Nintendo consoles to dress up or bring our characters to the ride ar digitally like costumes for Mario and friends it shouldn’t be that difficult if it’s the same model, why can’t they change the maps of the ride it’s very weird. I still like it but wish it was our actual dream Mario kart ride attraction it’s nice for now but it gets old and I don’t think will change much unless they take our feedback 😢
