I might be bias, but the Orlando version looks better than the Hollywood version.

In my opinion I don't want The Simpsons Land and The Simpsons Ride being removed at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando Florida. Even though Disney owns The Simpsons I don't want The Simpsons Land being removed at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Orlando Florida because they have my favorite ride called The Simpsons Land and they have my favorite restaurant called Krusty Burger. They also have my favorite food to eat there which is the famous Lard Lad Donut.

They shuld rethem the Spiderman with a ride based on the Ninja turtles from nickelodeon will actuali be the return of the franchase after they left Disney mgm studios

Idk if i would describe toon lagoon as timeless… like there is not a single child who gets those references anymore, whereas Seuss is timeless, but in need of love and care

I went on the Jaws ride in Orlando. The very first time on it, the boathouse area had something go wrong and the driver seemed to be panicking a little bit. I thought it was part of the act but then we could smell something like burned electronics. After a few minutes, the doors behind us opened and there's the next boat, stuck waiting there too, lol. After a few more minutes, they managed to get the front doors open to get us through. Maybe it's just cursed, haha.

I talked with a Team member over at Cat in the hat. They explained the spinning was re-programmed to be TAME due to a lot of guests getting motion sick or riding the ride RIGHT after they had lunch or dinner, a lot of vomiting issues ensued hence the lack of spinning.

Yesterday, I wrote that I thought Seuss' widow's dislike of theme parks was stupid. I deleted that comment and apologize because after visiting DreamWorksLand, I think I am sympathetic a bit now. Perhaps she felt/feels theme parks insist on controlling the fun rather than giving kids the materials to create their own fun. The replacement of the ball room where kids could run, climb and play themselves with a screen telling them what to do is discouraging. Now the climbing area is in the hot sun or rain. Maybe UO was nervous about kids getting hurt. I know the parents can be unforgiving. Truth is other areas are better for self guided fun like back yards, day care or one's own room.

I rode Everest multiple times when it was in previews and I loved seeing that Yeti move! I love this ride, the theme is authentic!

I think if they ever do close Revenge of The Mummy they’ll probably replace it with Secret Life of Pets. But in my opinion I think a better change would be to have a dark ride using the same ride system as mummy themed after Gangster films as it would fit the area of the park and also the park’s theme with its focus on film history and movie making. They could have Martin Scorsese introduce the ride and have guests transported to the 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s as they play the role of “Mules” transporting goods amidst a turf war between two gangs. The guests would have to narrowly dodge gangsters and police while making it to a safe house on the other side of the city.

I was lucky to ride it in March 2006 and the original Yeti effect was fantastic.

Some people might not agree with me but in my opinion this ride needs to be replaced or redone. Outside of the launch it’s a very boring ride. It also always leaves me with a headache, very uncomfortable ride even after the work they did on it a few years ago

He finally did a non universal ride

There used to be a Mummy dark walk-through attraction at the Hollywood location

I remember there were 3 versions of the ride. Version 2 and 3 were basically the same. The only difference was basically "break runs" IE.. the boat went to spots and stopped and waited for the skipper or ride ops to let it into the next area.. mainly because there was an issue with birds. FL birds would land on the water and if they were in the wrong area could be hurt by water cannons. so they installed the "bird button" to let the boat know when it was safe because (legend has it) before the bird button a poor bird got killed and launched into lap of like a little girl? and there was a legal action on that if i remember right? (this is all like 3 or 4th hand stories so no idea if it's true)

10 year old me and family got free tickets to Universal Orlando by sitting through a time share pitch. The park had barely been open a week. Ironically the ONLY two rides working were Jaws and ET. We rode the original Jaws and skipped ET because the wait was like 6 hours or something craz. The og jaws ride was SICK!!!

I rode the original version when the shark grabbed the boat. It actually worked for a weekend. Of course I didn’t have my video camera with me which was a VHS monster at the time.
