The Hulk is the perfect coaster for a "first time" big-boy coaster ride. The restraints are comfortable and feel secure, the ride is smooth, and there aren't many 0g moments. If you are reluctant to ride thrill coasters, this is a good one to start with.
This coaster helped me get over my fear of coasters for sure. I started on the mummy then moved up to Hulk. Honestly I think it's the launch, you don't get the anxiety of slowly going up the first hill like most rides. Weirdly it makes other coasters feel tame for me personally.

I bsolutely love the hulk when I went there I was terrified at the begingn thinking about going but my friends and I worked up the ride intensity and when I went on it I absolutely loved it
I wonder if they lower the intensity of the launch when theres more kids present. Yesterday i went and i think there was several middle schools visiting. When i rode it all the way on the back i couldnt really feel that force of thr launch and so i rode it again but this time at the front and it was the same deal. I visited the park park 2 days prior and that time i actually felt the intensity of the launch, so it just made me wonder 🤔

The ride since the refurbishment is a lot better. I stopped riding it as often because it physically hurt to be on the ride. Once they updated, it is back to being fun again. New theme is lame, but coaster is back to being top notch.
wasn't the dueling dragons coaster also partially inspired by the poached imagineers ideas for the fantasy part of Animal Kingdom that never came to fruition?
I loved this ride when it came out, and even 6 years ago, but on my visit this year it rattled my head enough to not enjoy it at all. A shame, but velocicoaster is better than hulk ever was
Disney won't wrestle it back, Universal has the rights in perpetuity. The more likely scenario is that Disney forks over a lot of cash to Universal for the rights at some point
Some people might not agree with me but in my opinion this ride needs to be replaced or redone. Outside of the launch it’s a very boring ride. It also always leaves me with a headache, very uncomfortable ride even after the work they did on it a few years ago

The Hulks launch is one of the all time bests.
I love how this ride roars as it launches, a ton of fun to watch.
I love the first half of the ride the second half is just ok. Either or still a fun time
second half gave me a headache, although that could have been exacerbated by the gray out the first loop through the mist gave me.

Excellent video the Hulk has grown on me over the years. I do prefer the older version but the new version is nice too. Dragons are still superior.

I still find the Hulk too rough to ride after the refurb. It's a skip on each trip for me. I'd rather taken several rides on Velcocoaster
