How to build a minnow tank for a dock using an old freezer

  • My good buddy over at fat slabs guide service was needing a way to store minnows and I had just the solution sitting in my garage! Took me a few days of working with it, but I got it all together and delivered and that will be a separate video!     Good idea and good build. Been watching deep freezer to bait tank builds on here for years but I real like your intake and drainage ideas

    You need to turn in on its side and check to see if there is room between the ground and the inside container. I converted a chest freezer as a teen and the inside dropped 2 inches from the water weight. So you may need bricks or support under it.

      It goes all the way to the bottom and has a metal bottom floor! It worked awesome! I have a video of it in action coming out next!

    I love all the different ideas on what old appliances can be used for! This is definitely going in the “save” videos, we have a couple of ponds on our property, the largest is about 4-5 acres, I could see my husband enjoying something like this. 😁

    Trash heck!!! I got 3 I use to raise bait in 2 for minnows and 1 for crawfish it’s a little work but worth it👍 god bless and great video brother
