Thanks for the tutorial 🙏🏼 I am in the middle of research on the topic of the rocket stove, which brought me here. We would enjoy more of your content as well. My plans are to put a stove below a conventional brick pizza oven, rather than the traditional style of building the fire inside and dislocating it when hot. What are your thoughts on this idea? Thank you in advance🙏🏼
Hi CyberCamp I am not sure using a rocket stove to heat up your pizza oven will be entirely effective. While it will doa good job heating up the bottom of the oven, I am not sure there will be enough conduction in the materials the oven is made out of to pass the heat all the way around to the top of the oven, giving you the even heat you will require to get a good cook. My guess is you will have a nice crispy base but your cheese won't have melted yet.
@@MrLittlelukey thank you for getting back Sir🙏🏼 First I agree with you on the top cook issue. My consideration is to “perforate” the floor of the oven around the diameter ( how? Not sure yet) but to allow the rocket heat to envelop of the oven. The entire stove will be assembled below the oven deck as a unit and focus on the cooking surface in the center. I have gone to a small wood fired pizza restaurant (too many times) and watched closely how they work it. Basically they shift the wood coals to the center, then back to surrounding edges to encourage the top cook. I am building the rocket out of an out of date 20lb propane tank as the mount/insulation. I will report back. I already committed to building one with/for my long time friend, and I can’t back out now🤔
Can this stove controllable like gas stove I have a factory so it's very expressive for gas stove and can u make it for industrial purpose which can be controllable to increase and decrease fire without smokes etc
Hi Daniel, Thanks for your questions. While you can control the temperature at the top of the chimney, at the trivet, it isn't quite as simple as turning a dial up or down. Counter intuitively, the smaller and thinner the timber added to the rocket stove the hotter it burns and visa versa for thicker pieces. As for an industrial scale model, it would be possible logically but I think it would be difficult to manufacture and maintain over an extended period.
Outstanding video. Thanks for posting. 👍👍
Thank you for the tips.

A circular tubing would be nice like a real rocket
So No lighter fluid is needed, right?
You can use it but it isn't necessary. If you don't overload the chamber it will start easily once air starts to flow.
