    Can it compute the usage for the whole month or it resets whenever the appliance is not powered?

    Can someone confirm that the hertz function is just a dummy and doesnt actually display real hertz value?... i bought 1 of these and hertz always stays at 60..exactly...i plugged it into a generator that i know was not 60hz and it showed 60

    Real hertz will never be actually 60 it will fluctuate so i believe the hz is not actual reading

    Wrong. The cost/kwh SETTING is not in dollars. It's in cents.

      With this device you can use the digits left of the decimal as dollars OR cents... it depends on how you want to do the math to figure cost. If you read is as displaying dollars then the whatever cost appears after x amount of time using wattage is the actual full dollar and cents amount. If you setup your cost as left of the decimal representing cents and right of the decimal breaking it down to hundredths of a cent then when you wanna know the cost of used wattage you just have to be mindful to move the decimal place over 2 spaces.
      The reason why it was designed this way was so that you could figure for any currency and the math would work out. Just thought I'd pitch in and offer that up.

      That’s going to be a high bill at $16.60 kWh! 😂

    Will this be able to tell me the surge wattage? I need to know what my sump pump surge is when it kicks on. TIA

      No. You need a clamp meter to read "inrush current". The cheapest meter I know of is the Habotest HT208D. It sells for just over $40 on ali and is rebadged under several names including Kaiweetz.
      HF has AC line splitters on clearance for $12 if you don't have one - or don't want to make one.

    Why do they want us to change overload protection from factory set 3680 to 1800 watts?

    • @NNITRED
      @NNITRED Месяц назад +2

      1800w is for US 120v /15 amps. The 3680w is for 230v/16 amps.

    Wow..... it's 30 cents per kWh where I am.

      What’s that mean? Is that good or bad ?

    • @Xenozillex
      @Xenozillex 29 дней назад

      @@FarPeace077 It's pretty bad. an AC typically uses 5kwh an hour. So 30 cents per kwh means if you leave the AC on for a day it will cost 36 dollars per day.
