When you're entering the cost per Kwh... is the display showing that 15.00 is 15 cents... or 15 dollars? In other words, are the numbers to the left of the decimal dollars or cents?

It’s dollar then cents. So 15.00 is $15 and $0.15 is cents. Hope this helps!

So the watt display I assume is an instantaneous measure of watts per hour

I thought you could program to cover up to 3600 watts overload protection. Is that incorrect?

The listing says not to exceed 1800 watts. I have not pushed it anywhere close to that.

Is thia accurate reading? Can anybody verify the reading using other tools? It cost so cheap.

It’s a great question. I don’t have to proper tools to test this. But I do know the small products take little power on the meter and some of the high power products definitely show significantly higher readingings. If I had to guess I would say it’s in the ballpark of what’s being used and that’s good enough for my use case. Officially though, I’m not sure it’s true accuracy. If you find out from someone who has would love to hear about the outcome.

This device lasted less than a year for me. Now it blinks on for a second and the screen goes black.

Thanks for sharing, I have not had any issues to date and had it well over a year. Currently in the garage and regularly 80-100+ degrees with no issue. I wonder if this is one off or other experience it too?
