Meps is the easy part. No need to stress about that. Boot camp is the part that separates those with a backbone and those without. Pro tip - try not to stand out while you’re there or else the T.I.’s will target you constantly. Also, be in really good shape beforehand because it will make boot camp much easier since you will be pushed to your physical limits. Another tip, maybe do a desk job. If you do a job where you get deployed there’s a high chance that you’ll come back crazy and everyone will think you’re strange.

The Air Force is one of the harder ones get into. I was going to join the Airforce initially. When I passed the test the only job they really had open was military police. I ended up joining the Army as a pharmacy specialist. I wanted something that was easy to translate out of the military that I wouldn't mind doing.

I went to MEPS 6 yrs ago. I had asthma before my 13th birthday day. They found out(I blurted) and was PDQed. They had me take a PULMONARY FUCNTIONS TEST, where it was discovered that o actually had moderate obstrucive airways. That barred me from coming back. Recently I tried to go to the army again, and the MEPs head surgeon or whatever, said that I have to pass a PFT to get in. I am prepping to take the test(which technically you can’t prep for that type of test), and I’m so nervous. I hope I pass it. I’ve always wanted to serve and am sure that I can OUT PT most service members. I hate this shit. 😓😓😓😓
Here’s hoping to pass for my entrance. Hope you keep your head up my guy. GOOD LUCK

@@adderallfocusedso, this is what happened. I went to meps, and then I was waivered for the the asthma. Unfortunately, that new stupid Genesis thing claimed that I had fucking NARCOLEPSY(which I don’t, I’ve never had a diagnosis for Narcolespy or anything associated with narcolepsy.) along with dysuria, and lower back pain back in the day. I’m sure I can get a narcolepsy waiver, because as I said, I’ve never had it. That shit was completely left field for me, I never expected to be dqed for Narcolepsy, cause I never had it.
Anyways, now I need 3 waivers, one of which practically bars you from service outright. I swear MEPS is fucking stupid, because how TF did it come up, that I had that shit.

There's plenty of breathing exercises that you can do that's on RUclips that can immediately lower your bp bro. Obviously, diet plays a big factor. Breathe deeply in slowly, and then Breathe deeply out slowly and repeat the process for at least five minutes. It will lower your bp when on the machine. And start your running regiment, get that cardio up there and drink plenty of water. You'll be fine, brother. I've been there, good luck!! Also invest in a bp machine at CVS, it's affordable
