One other person in a review I found, said that the tilt function does not ratchet rather it spins in a spring clip. This is one of my concerns. This person believes after many adjustments that it will not hold anymore. Could you give me your thoughts on this before I order it? I am a bit finicky when it comes to this feature as it has to do with my work usage. I like the 70R as it ratchets. Thank you for your info, or anyone else that has bought this. Just not that many reviews out yet.
As a mechanic I chose this light because of the front battery location. It's difficult to work off of a creeper with a rear mounted battery. I personally don't like how heavy it is, especially hanging off my forehead for hours at a time, but it's a beast of a light'. I primarily use floodlight. On mine 2 quick taps of the switch gets straight to flood, but on either flood or spot, they both start at the minimum brightness setting (no memory). Also mine gets hot enough to burn, on turbo mode. I burned a halo on my pants without contact (with the light side) showing a friend .
@@BiswajitSardar-u1x I really don't pay attention. I use it on medium flood mode most of the time and it's several days before I swap batteries, depending on the kind of jobs I'm doing. .. but I also bought a HM65R and I like it much better, but it takes the smaller battery and doesn't last as long.. but it's much lighter and better for auto work IMO.
My sympathies on the play from user error. I almost destroyed the case of a new set of Airpod Pros because I tried to force the lid open on the wrong side. I need to tattoo "RTFM" on the back of my hands.
Other issue I have with this model is that Fenix doesn't let you know what CRI you get and the K. It's a bit of a crapshoot what LED you get. There is no way it's hitting 2700 lumens, I bet it's doing slightly over half that. Also, would be nice if they just have software to just let you program the thing. Still a great light and love the 90 degree angle!
Dude. Zoom out and show the headlamp at all times in the video. You’ll get more views. I gotta dip. This video too close to your face and it’s giving me a headache. My fault dawg. It’s all love. Just a heads up. Not your face imparticular. Not being rude. It’s just way too close
double tap to turn on in floodlight mode

Does the lens melts ?
@BiswajitSardar-u1x no, and it's still working fine.
@@azwrenchmaster5334 tell me more about runtime of this flashlight

Perfect review. Thank you.

I own a fenix HM71r and enjoy using it.
Does the main lens melts sir ?

When there lights have been tested they come back correct
@Spacecadet3890 the adverts don't have to be correct. They probably use the 1st 10 seconds on a fresh battery that's about it.
Dubble tap for flood light sir.
Thanks for the video!
Im planning to buy this headlamp, is there any worthy alternative out there just in case before i buy it ?
Yeah, Fireflies PL47 G2. Has lots of cool options, and has a better CRI (more natural color). Only main problem is it doesn't have a red light option.
Fenix will likely send you a new clip, just ask
