Until I came across this video, I had done quite a bit of research on the internet, but I couldn't find anything that was helpful for my work. Thank you! This was tremendously helpful to me - I had upgraded my late-2012 iMac 27" very successfully with OCLP but tried to use Zoom and couldn't enable the camera. Until I saw this video I had resigned myself to failure. Followed the instructions and now Zoom's camera function is working great. (If only it could make me look 20 years younger now!) Thank you!

I also tried TCC, but I didn’t have the proper terminal commands at that time, so I switched back to Catalina. Now, I’ve reinstalled Big Sur with my system, and these commands work like a charm! I’ve granted all the necessary permissions to all the day-to-day apps. Thanks, mate!!

Thank you SO MUCH Jessie's Flying! I have had so much trouble getting my audio interface to work with Logic Pro 10 (currently 10.7.9) and this video saved me. Just so you know, my operating system is Monterey but this worked perfectly once I got the code right. Anyone who needs help with Logic Pro, please know that although it's now officially called "Logic Pro" The commands will only work with the name "Logic Pro X" in order to get the terminal code for Logic Pro. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you for the video. I found a video that had a reset for my camera and microphone that allowed all the apps to work after opening them. I used: Reset all permissions for camera/microphone: make sure to quit all open applications - open terminal and type - tccutil reset Camera Enter or return then type - tccutil reset Microphone Enter or return I restarted my Mac and both the microphone and camera appeared to select all apps I use

For microphone write "Microphone" for camera write " Camera" . It is cap locs sensitive. If you write "camera" it doesnt accept you shoul write " Camera" begin with caps lock.

Thank you so much for the video and the engineering efforts put into keeping old Macs working. I thought I was going to have to downgrade macOS but this has saved me from that. I now have the microphone and camera working with Microsoft Teams on iMac 14,3 and iMac 13,2 running Ventura 13.4.1 under OCLP 0.6.7.

Thank you for this! My recent attempts were unsuccessful because I couldn't find an easy enough tutorial on how to use tccplus, but this did it for me. On the other hand, I'm having an unrelated issue with the Zoom desktop client itself. It force closes whenever I try to go into the app settings, thus I cannot change any of the settings to my liking. The app will work just fine as long as I don't attempt to go into the settings menu. Is anyone else having this same issue?

At the moment I am trying it out on Monterey and everything worked perfectly except for permissions. I am thinking to upgrade all the way to Ventura though. @@JessiesFlying Update: did the upgrade to Ventura. Got the permissions for camera and mic working for work meetings with this fix. Ventura feels a notch slower than Monterey did. I haven't tried the M1 or M2 chip models, I hear they're good. But still, MacBook Pro mid 2012 runs like a beast with these upgrades! I really recommend it. It's a great way to get a really powerful computer on a budget!
I followed the instructions on my Mac Pro 5,1 and System Preferences now shows rights for my desired app (Facetime). But my setup with Camera Continuity (iPhone Xs 16.5) is still broken. Is this a Camera Continuity issue? Do I need to grant permission for this feature too? Is your device Metal or non Metal? (For MacBook Air basically 2012 and newer is Metal) Because Monterey works perfectly on Metal, and just as well as Big Sur on non Metal

How do I re-root patch my system? When I opened the OCLP 0.6.8, I could only see Build and Install Opencore and Post-Install Root Patch but I clicked on Post-Install Root Patch and restarted my laptop, yet I’m still having problems seeing the permission when I click on apps. I was able to fix zoom based on your commands on this video
Thank you for making this video. It was having the problem that in Teams my camera was working on my side but not on the other side of the teams call (grey screen). So I thought my camera was working and it was not. Following your steps I got it to work in the teams app again. What is strange because the settings were just fine in the systemsettings/privacy and security/Camera. So it seems fine en without problems redownloading teams did not work and all although Mac OS asked me for new permissions again. Anyway, now I can fully use my Macbook mid 2012 again. Thanks to Your video (the only one I could find about this problem) and the heroes of the OCLP project.

thank you for this helpful tutorial now my cam and mic are both working with zoom app. but when i opened imovie, the imovie app is not appearing at privacy and security permissions.
On my MacBook Pro mid-2012 13” with Ventura 13.4 and OCLP 0.6.6 there is no problem. Zoom got its permission to use the Camera from the past and the Camera access page in System Preferences is just opening without any special effort. Could it be that OCLP 0.6.6 has fixed this?

@@magnanimurillo it's also in this tutorial - just start OCLP and select root patch - if it says "all patches applied" it should be ok - or just reinstall them and reboot...

Thank you for the super-helpful video! I have a problem with another graphics/video app not running correctly: Duet Display. The app will open and run up until the point where I tell it to extend the display of another computer on on my network. At that point, instead of opening a new desktop space with the extended display, nothing happens (though the app on my mac and the other computer both register the connection, and the other computer behaves as if another display is connected). I have a 2011 iMac now running Ventura 13.4. Is this a similar permission issue? The app runs fine when I boot to a drive with High Sierra. Thanks again!

Same procedure. Check the comments, a lot of people did this for other apps. Make sure you use also capital letters...

That solution is only for unsupported models, your m1 model should work out of the box, so that is a different issue…

Version 0.6.7 soll vielleicht schon ohne AMFI disabling auskommen, damit wäre das Problem gelöst....

Ich habe einen Mid2011er iMAC und habe Dualboot High Sierra und Monterey. Leider werden in Monterey genau wie Du beschrieben hast weder in OBS noch in Zoom, Skype oder Teams Kamera und Mikro erkannt und auch keine Erlaubnis-Vergabe dafür ermöglicht. Daher muss ich für Online Meetings immer noch High Sierra benutzen, was ja nicht mehr sicher ist. Freue mich auf Deine Antwort.

Ich habe danach den Patcher 0.6.8 installiert und dann Monterey die neueste Version und alles funktioniert weiterhin( Zoom, Skype, OBS, Audacity) danke nochmal.
Das sollte genauso funktionieren, habe nur gerade nichts hier um das zu testen - Feedback please wenn es geklappt hat

Hi, I have installed Sonoma on MacBook Pro Early 2008 and everything works fine except camera. In apps like Zoom, there video icon is crossed and in FaceTime it says 'No camera available'. Any help please?

I found a problem in sonoma where i use the tccplus and enter, prompt something like zsh killed: came out.
If you’re using latest OpenCore legacy patcher this shouldn’t be needed anymore

Hi Jessie, I have a trouble when try to launch tccplus it was killed... I try to download it few times. I'm with OCLP 1.4 and MacOS Sonoma. So it not works. (I was able to use it same versions in my MacBook 6,1 before) thx a lot
That shouldn’t be necessary with later OCLP versions… what exactly is not working?
@Jessie, I have 2 devices which are running on Monetery patcher which have the same problem, mid 2012 macbook pro "13" and mid 2011 iMac "27" which I used the same method and it worked. thanks a lot!!!

Do you think OCLP can possibly fix this in the future? For now I'm still on Big Sur but soon will have to upgrade my MacBook Air.

Is your device Metal or non Metal? (For MacBook Air basically 2012 and newer is Metal)
Because Monterey works perfectly on Metal, and just as well as Big Sur on non Metal

How do I re-root patch my system? When I opened the OCLP 0.6.8, I could only see Build and Install Opencore and Post-Install Root Patch but I clicked on Post-Install Root Patch and restarted my laptop, yet I’m still having problems seeing the permission when I click on apps. I was able to fix zoom based on your commands on this video

It was having the problem that in Teams my camera was working on my side but not on the other side of the teams call (grey screen). So I thought my camera was working and it was not.
Following your steps I got it to work in the teams app again.
What is strange because the settings were just fine in the systemsettings/privacy and security/Camera. So it seems fine en without problems redownloading teams did not work and all although Mac OS asked me for new permissions again.
Anyway, now I can fully use my Macbook mid 2012 again. Thanks to Your video (the only one I could find about this problem) and the heroes of the OCLP project.

here's a challenge for you... how do you make "Speedtest / Ookla" operable in Sonoma... appears "tccplus wrapper hotfix" is not compatible with Sonoma, has a severe Location permission issue, thanks
So the tccplus method should be obsolete with OCLP 0.6.8 (AMFIpass is integrated) - so does it work with OCLP 0.6.8 or 0.6.9?

thank you for this helpful tutorial now my cam and mic are both working with zoom app. but when i opened imovie, the imovie app is not appearing at privacy and security permissions.
works the same: find ID of iMovie and add it manually. but check out my latest video, this procedure is not needed anymore with OCLP 0.6.8!

On my MacBook Pro mid-2012 13” with Ventura 13.4 and OCLP 0.6.6 there is no problem. Zoom got its permission to use the Camera from the past and the Camera access page in System Preferences is just opening without any special effort. Could it be that OCLP 0.6.6 has fixed this?
I had the issue with 0.6.6, but might be MAC model specific.... 🤔

Are the root patches installed properly?

@@magnanimurillo it's also in this tutorial - just start OCLP and select root patch - if it says "all patches applied" it should be ok - or just reinstall them and reboot...

As far as I know Memoji problems are due to specific graphic drivers 😩

Thanks so much. It works perfectly with the commands. My open legacy patcher says 0.6.8 but it’s still popping off each time i turn on my computer and says I need to upgrade to 0.6.8?
Without your command code, it wouldn’t have worked despite the fact that I have 0.6.8?
with 0.6.8 (and another root patch) it should work without the commands....
Thank you for the super-helpful video! I have a problem with another graphics/video app not running correctly: Duet Display. The app will open and run up until the point where I tell it to extend the display of another computer on on my network. At that point, instead of opening a new desktop space with the extended display, nothing happens (though the app on my mac and the other computer both register the connection, and the other computer behaves as if another display is connected). I have a 2011 iMac now running Ventura 13.4. Is this a similar permission issue? The app runs fine when I boot to a drive with High Sierra. Thanks again!
I think that’s an issue of the re-implemented graphic drivers being not able to use all features that were present in older macOS… 🤔
