thank you from France, i'm struggling with mine, it's not as bad as yours but it stall easily and if i accelerate to fast it stall and sometimes even at high speed it stop slow down then restart and push hard again. I'll try that. I bought a new spark plug because my father once unscrew it and told me it was not the reference recomended so i was searching an easy way to change it (he told me it was hard to access). Finally i think it's more the problem you had than the spark plug.
2019 Grizzly 700, having the same issue. I've done that twice but it would only run normal for a few hours. I've got a new injector that will be here in two days. Thanks for the video because it drove me nuts and and I'm sure it helped many others who have been having the same problem. I'm fixing to clean it once more to be able to use the bike over the next few days until the new one arrives.
Thanks man! I think this will solve my issue. I found a fuel injector tester on ebay for $25 shipped. Im going to hook that to the fuel injector, while its in an ultrasonic cleaner, using seafoam as the cleaning solution. According to the other videos, this is how shops clean them.
I’m having same issue on my raptor 700, witch is same motor basically, mine runs a minute or two then surges from normal to low then dies , I wonder if it’s my injector as well
nice job. thanks for sharing. Just had to remove my throttle body and clean it...throttle was sticking when cold. The engine side of the injector was filthy. Ran fine otherwise.
I had the same problem, my grizzly kept boggin out when I was ridin or even in neutral. I took the Injector out(20 min) pretty simple . Took some brake cleaner and sprayed the injector then put it back in. Problem solved. Thank you for the help👍🏽
My 2013 700 has the same issue. First I thought it was old gas as it sits between uses like many atv's do. I drained the tank and put in fresh gas and still same problem. I will look into your fix. Can you give me an idea of where the fuel injector is located (right side, left side, top, etc). Thanks for your help and video.
So what about one that has a new carburetor installed by YAMAHA that sputters and just doesn't act right at all? It smoothes out if you put it on full choke which makes me think it's running too lean, Though it also has a hesitation while riding and that just furthers my theory but I could be wrong.
Definitely running lean. Adjust the fuel screw and potentially got up on jet size. One trick. Restrict airflow through the carb/ intake and rev the bike. If restricting the airflow allows the bike to rev like it’s suppose to then it is running lean and needs more fuel so adjust jetting.
Looking for a little advice. I have a 400 kodiak and yesterday it started going limp, exhaust backfiring on decline and cutting out when I stopped. Got to be a fuel problem but not sure where to start 🤷🏻♂️
does anyone have a good video on how to remove the airbox & throttle body to get to this? I'm handy but don't like tearing stuff apart with no direction in case I ruin something.
I have simillar problem when its cold it starts then stalls and only if you give throttle it runs. When warm its better but runs very rich any solution to this?
@@nathanorlando1933 check the fuel pump. For me it was unfortunate scenario, cylinder connecting rod and piston were all messed up, later even engine locked up. had to rebuild the engine.
@@ThatDudeTrent1 mine yes if i slam the throttle it stop but if i go gentle it usually go fine then i can push harder untill it eventually stop at high speed slow down because engine is off then start again.

Thanks from Finland🙏
This video solved my big big problem👍
You’re welcome !
I'm having the same problem . I ordered an injector so hopefully it works for me. Thanks for the video
If that doesn’t fix it check fuel pressure.
@n1u0m3ber how difficult is to take the throttle body and air box off.. I see the injector on the left side
@@marksutton9534 don’t remember it being hard. That’s been 5 years ago since I’ve done that so I don’t remember.
I thank you man that was my problem I had the whole entire motor off and put it back on today and it crunk up and ran fine
joey ferrell you’re very welcome. When I run into weird issues like this there is never any info online about it. I am glad I helped you out!

This is really first video with a fix, nice work bro
So glad I found this thank you.

Was it complicated to get it out. I heard you have to take the airbox out and throttle body off to get to the injector

Bob Palmer it’s under the intake box. Dead center

How far down in was the screen? Did it pull out pretty hard? Thanks
Did you have any problems since u fixed it?

I have the exact same problem
This might have just saved me $150. Mine is acting the exact same, and I was about to put a fuel pump in her

If you ease on the throttle it runs fine?

Watter in the gas
No. Was not water in the gas. Watch the whole video
