Thanks for the demo. Really turned out well, despite not having your right hand man available 😅 It'll be good to see more DIY products. I really fancy trying their ceramic gloss because I'd like to know how it compares to BSD Thanks again
Jean, thanks for watching the video and leaving a comment. I really enjoyed using this coating and will definitely be reviewing more from their range. We are monitoring the performance of the coating over time and will report back in the comments section. Thanks again.
Great job Andrew. Enjoying your podcasts with Andreas and I too like using Labo Cosmetica products now that we can get them in the USA.I done 2 cars with DIY 8 year coating great coatings to work with. I am going to do 8 DIY year base coating and 3yr coating on top soon.
Cheers buddy and thanks for watching. I was really impressed with the coating we used. I plan to use more of their coatings in the future so watch out for future video reviews. Cheers.
There are many approaches to this but personally we always rinse off. The concept of fallout remover is to reduce the oxidation around iron particles (reduces the size) so that the subsequent use of a pressure washer can dislodge them and remove them from the clear coat. To apply fallout without rinsing and then progress to the contact wash, in my opinion, runs the risk of you forcing the iron into the clear coat which is undesirable. For me, always rinse after the application of fallout remover.
Nice work Andy, I've recently purchased some DIY products to try, I haven't used any yet though. Yeh, BMW paint can be rock hard at times, which polish pad combo did you find was working well there?
Hi ally, we tend to use Zvizzer medium compound and their thermo medium pad. It’s a fantastic pad/polish combo that works on most paint types. Hope that helps
Thanks for another really enjoyable and informative video. I've only used the Gyeon range of ceramic coatings, so will be interesting to see how this compares with MOHS and Skin which is a nightmare on a dark blue car. I've spoken to a supplier of graphene that is used is car products and they told me the amount is so small it makes no real difference, just a gimmick.
I am undecided on the merits of graphene if I am honest. Putting that aside, this is a lovely coating. I will monitor for longevity and see if the coating is less susceptible to water points. Cheers again.

I love this stuff! I used it 1 year ago on my mustang and its still holding up amazing.. The only down fall is the very strong chemical smell.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. It's a very nice coating and I do agree about the smell. Cheers.

Hello. When you're doing the decon wash & applying Fall Out Remover. Are you rinising it off or stacking it with the acidic shampoo?
Ty

That rainbow effect really showed up, you certainly put in the machine time to get a great surface to work with.
Thanks buddy. It was hard but rewarding work. The final finish makes the graft worth it. Cheers.
I have the 5 year on the wife's car, there is a one year coating coming out soon
Cheers and thanks for watching. I plan to review more of their coatings as this 1 was a pleasure to apply.

Thanks buddy. I used Zvizzer Medium compound with a medium thermo pad. I then did the second pass with their Fine combination.

Great video, you've demonstrated that really well I think. Although the trigger noises, without seeing you spray it on, was absolute filth 😅
Ha ha, cheers buddy.
Transformed that car to another level …
Thank you Bri.
It looks nice and easy to apply and it is a good price.
Thanks for watching. I was really happy with this coating.
I've used DIY Details coatings a number of times. Easy to apply and level . 1 hr after finishing, its out the door
Agreed. I was very impressed and enjoyed the application experience. Need to get more of their product range to test out a few more of their products.
Gutted I missed this one. Looks very impressive all round coating. Final finish on the car was fantastic 😁
Cheers buddy.
All that machine polishing and no Karl to do it!
I feel robbed! 😂😂😂
I know, it was a struggle not having the big guns helping lol.
