I cannot thank you enough! I need to trim my blocking wire for finishing a knitted object. To save some money, I bought very long ones, which I'll cut to my needs. Then I'll need to thread the wire through most of the edge stitches! I didn't know this tool existed, and looked for a long time before I found your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Just discovered this channel and Magpie GS. Great products and very helpful technique demos. I have sat and watched 6 in a row at a sitting. I don't usually sit still for that long, unless I'm on a project. Even the, I stand a lot of the time. Anyway, please make more vids! Love them. BTW, you remind me so much of Uma Thurman.
End must be tucked, wrapped or wired in. Glue is not used in wire wrapping, it eventually gives out. With practice you will know when the wire is secure. Hope that makes sense?
thanks so much. very helpful. glad i didnt go straight to amazon for burr cup or jewelry file. i'll try my dremel first & go from there. short & sweet. some of these get REALLY long & dragged out. :)
Great info and demo. I use mostly 20 gauge wire, but it's good to know I don't have to buy several different size burr cups. And the dremel tool is a kick! This is going to make making earring wires so much better. Thanks!

Your welcome.
Thanks for the tutorial. I am new at this, how do you finish off the smaller wire? Do you glue it? Is it hard enough to stay put?
