So glad I found this! I've researched books, youtube, etc but this is the first tutorial I think I can get in order to learn in the way I work. Thank you!
First off the intro was grand! Wow I have learned a lot on things I was doing the “wrong” way...ugh. Next thing I need dead soft wire. Thanks for sharing👍🏻🤗😁
Thank you for showing us your knowledge. It's refreshing to know that you can still get beautiful results without spending so much money on tools for every occasion. Keep them coming! A fan.
Ok, I only just saw your intro and have decided that you are my favourite jewelry maker on here. You are a wonderful breath of fresh air. And I can tell just by your opening picture of your work that , you girl, are good. I am a fairly new designer, been at it a few months and have sold a few items, not enough to make a living, yet, lol. I think I’m one of the very few guys that watch these but I just love creating beautiful things. I have already been asked to teach at one of our craft stores, lol. I think it’s funny but there’s no one around that does it here. I’m in a small town. I’m worried if ?I teach, I won’t sell anything, lol. Peace girl. I look forward to learning from you. ✌️✨💖✨💎✨😁
Teach! The ones you teach probably aren't the ones buying! They are spending all their money on tools!!! I believe in always striving to create the next, best thing that I can. We all stand on the backs of our predecessors and peers - without whom, we would have to go back to square one each time we made something new (to us)! We need to learn what the box consists of before we can step out of it. Keep up the great work, fail, practice, fail and succeed - it's the only way that I know to get better at anything. Oh, and don't forget to live a full and interesting life. We are all inspired and our imaginations are sparked by, exposure to the new and different. Thank you so much for your kind words! They are appreciated!
I love this tutorial. I always have a problem making the curves after a circle on the end.Very helpful the way you showed how to move your wrist and position finger on wire. Thank you!
I have to tell you how much I have learned from you ! All of the wonderful ideas, tips and tricks you teach have made jewelry making easy and less expensive for me :) I make beautiful pieces and give them away for smiles and to make people feel like they are not in this world unappreciated or alone ! I could not do this without teachers such as yourself and I just wanted you to know that what you teach means so much more than you may already know !!! .. Thank you for being the YOU that YOU are !! I look forward to many more lessons, tip and tricks :)
I'm so glad I found your video. I'm trying to make a custom and overly complicated LED cube and need to bend a lot of wire to get the shape I want. Seeing how a true artisan works this material is so useful to someone like me who is so focused on an unrelated function of the material. Great video!
Thank you Nancy, I really enjoyed this. I would really like to see how these are soldered together, the soldering process with wire, just wire, has been hit or miss for me. So having your tips and techniques, on video, would be perfect. Again thank you.
Nancy, you get 5+☆'s from me! You never lost my attention, ie, your "tempo" for lack of a better word id spot on. I very much appreciate your novel ideas for straightening wire as well as your tips that others just presume others know. I'm looking forward to watching ALL of your videos. Thank you for sharing.
I have only just now found you, and sooo glad I did. I love to string beads, and trying to fool with wire, emphasis on “trying.” I learned more in this one video of yours than in any five others I’ve watched again and again. The 3 turn perfect circle is a miracle - I’ve already tried it. Before, it’s ALWAYS been hit and miss even tho I’ve done a thousand! That’s embarrassing! Honestly, now, I’ve got it! Thank you so much for that. And, making your beautiful spirals is another eye-opening, learning thing. The way you hold your finger to control the curve is the best tip. I’ve never done it exactly like that, and therefore never been as in control of the curve. I know, I know, it seems like, how could someone NOT know to do it. Well, you have a nw subscriber, and I hope so much that you’ll do more tutorials aimed at those of us who just can’t quite yet control wire, but truly want to. Thank you for a really great, really hopeful tutorial! All this from a new fan in Texas.✨💖✨
60's- & 70's . I also had a loom made chokers, Sad part I have none of them now, long story.Get this I lived in Ohio and bought them from Gloria's Glass Garden out in CA.I wonder if they are still in business.
Nancy, Thank you for this and all of your other videos. If you are ever on the East Coast near Southern NJ or Philadelphia, I would love to treat you to dinner. I learn so much from these videos.
I'm a Nancy, and have 4 initials am flamboyant imaginative and a gem dealer. Can we be friends? 😀 Love your videos . The tutorials are easy to follow and your sense of humor make them fun
Awesome Nancy 😊thanks so much; I'm going to look up your next video so I can see how you solder these. I'm working on an Om symbol & know that I will need to solder at some point. I want to eventually make earrings so I'm also practicing on doing 2 even pieces 🤓. Thanks so much I love your energy 🙏🏼🌺
Miss Nancy I am going to attempt to add some decorative wire work to a bird cage that will hold gift envelopes for my sons wedding . Thank you for you joyful inspirations! If u have any suggestions feel free to share!
Have you made a book of the working with wire? For (those who need to keep going back over things) Wish I had found this first before I spent money on anything !! Thank you, really excellent even for the slow learners like moi….
Great video. If one wanted to affix these pieces together to create a complete form say a fish or a butterfly (to then be mounted onto a canvas) what type of glue would hold these copper wire pieces together. What type of wire is this exactly? The weight I mean. Thank you so much!
I just started making Wire hair combs. Instead of using sandpaper you can get a brick and put it at your workstation. Just rub the ends on the brick or rock. Where do you buy your materials?
Nancy - you are truly an artist! Thank you for the valuable tips!
I can't get over that intro 😂❤❤❤❤
Glad it helped! Thank you!
PalsLivesLife lol RIGHT too funny!

My first time here. The intro woke me up. Love the info on tools. First time reading about how the round nosed pliers should be. Thank you.
So glad I found this! I've researched books, youtube, etc but this is the first tutorial I think I can get in order to learn in the way I work. Thank you!

Worth it for the pliers marking tip alone!
Nancy, we love you, Lady! From you, there is always something (or many things) of great value to be learned. Thank you💝

Hi Nancy, Cool 😎 video. I have made permanent marks on a pair of round nose pliers with an old pair of cutters, on one side all of the way around
Definitely works! I use my pliers for other work and was worried about transferring marks. Thanks for your suggestion!
