Every great outfit starts at the feet and having the perfect pair of shoes for the occasion is a great place to start.

So, yes, it's true that people notice your shoes, by choosing the right shoe the average outfit is elevated to excellence, an amazing outfit can be a style liability with the wrong shoes, and shoes are AWESOME! Men's Shoe Must Haves With these shoes you'll always have the right shoe for outfit or situation you find yourself in.
1. Simple black dress shoe - you can wear with jeans, slacks, chinos, and more if a matte finish.
2. Brown dress shoe - super sexy 2nd cousin of the simple black dress shoe. Adds richness and dimension to your outfit. Get a different style than your black dress shoe and keep it fresh.
3. Boots - chukka, dessert, or snub nose Frye
4.Leather casual shoe - Cole Haan lace up and driving moc are examples. You can wear casually during the week or dress up shorts. Comfortable, versatile, and you don't have to worry about it getting beat up.
5. Fashion sneaker - you don't go running in this or go to the gym. You kick around town while looking fresh and fly. You can step up your game but not like you're looking sneakers.

I'm amazed at how childish the people in the comment section are. Alpha is brave and takes precious time out of his life to make sure we, as men, look our best by posting videos. I know I would quit if I receive the hate comments that he gets. If you don't want his advice, fine. Just don't go on the comment section and say some really messed up things. Alpha has helped me up my style game and my confidence because I gave him a try and I wasn't going to be stubborn and say "my style is fine the way it is". 22utoo easy... buy white, blue oxford shirt. Black or dark blue denim. black shoes for black jeans. White sneakers and walnut oxfords are good with anything not black denim,chinos. Start with easy colors like black, white, blue, navy, but mostly white. Follow this advice and your ahead of the fashion game even ahead of this guy.

This is so utterly alien to me, that it inspired a comment.
Functionality is my only criter, so I prefer combat boots all year (yes I even run with those). Main reasons probably rough terrain, outdoors work, often bad weather and utter ingorance of style (cargo pants for the win).

I'm in my 60's and your advice is spot on. It applies to men my age as well as to the younger generations.Buying the same pair of shoes in brown and in black is like buying the same tie in various colors. You don't save any money doing that.
I am 5' 5" 150 pounds and just bought a pair of wingtip chelsea boots. I wish I had bought these boots decades ago! A great addition to my wardrobe.One more thought. Don't hesitate to shop for shoes when they are on sale. You might be able to find some higher-end good quality shoes that normally might be out of your price range.

I'm not a big proponent for shoes black shoes with jeans. There are also at least two other shoes that should be included but they aren't the priority. Casual slip-on loafers are great for the summer, whether in the park or on the water. Either the Chelsea or Ankle boot look more stylish (semi-formal, professional) than the Chukka, and great fall or mild winter wear.

Love the videos. I'm a red tone brown haired guy so brown is my choice is brown over black but have black for some things. One thing I see a lot of dudes mess up is not having matching brown accessories ( belt, hat, jewelry etc ) they mix it up with the stuff they wear with their black shoes and it just clashes.

Well, the title is "Men's Shoe Must Haves", not "Kids' Shoe Must Haves" :) Jokes aside, you wouldn't really wear any of these to school, or college for that matter, except the #5 or #4. The first three are dress shoes, so they are usually worn to work, for an office job, etc.

Casually you could buy some high end wears like Comme Des Carcoon Play Converse in black.
Overall, just try to have a bigger variety in shoes. I personally have 15 pairs.
