I only wear cowboy style boots. For work, casual, church, etc. Only exceptions are hunting boots for the cold and a special pair of shoes if I'm going to be walking for a long time.

You've really got to ask women OUTSIDE of your salon to be more effective. There are plenty of women who do not care if you wear flip flops. It depends on the context and area as well. In the summer near a lake or beach down it's totally acceptable and stylish to wear flip flops. On hot summer days a trip the grocery store real quick in flip flops is no big deal. In other countries, places like the Philippines flip flops are a stable and everyone wears them all the time. But in the USA wearing flip flops all the time is not good, but occasionally on those hot days it is fine. If you have clean feet that look great you are going to be fine and women will not care. Just don't wear socks with them.
I live in Florida near the beautiful white sandy beaches of The Emerald Coast. MANY OF US ONLY WEAR FLIP-FLOPS! Well, on occasion we wear slip-on water shoes, skateboarding shoes, but often just go barefoot, and I'm 54. In other words, too old to care. Life has enough stress without worrying about a belt matching shoes, or whether others dig your kicks. Down here it's a drink in one hand with toes in the sand.

I've got some leather American Eagle flip-flops that I've had for years. I wear them every summer and I could not care less what anyone thinks about them. I like them.
Part of being an adult is understanding that what you wear communicates who you are to other people. The whole "I don't care what other people think I wear what I want" philosophy is very immature. That's not to say you should "dress for other people", but following certain guidelines will make you look stylish, put together, and mature. Can be worn with many different clothes for various different occasions. Can be dressed up or down. For those wondering, the Roper's style of boots are classic and classy, Can be dressed up or down. Also often worn in the south with jeans or sometimes even with suits for business or official business.

If you live in a tropical country like the Philippines, weather here is pretty hot and humid. Flipflops are worn everywhere, even in the cities. It's like part of the culture. As well as tank tops, shorts and yes flipflops.

You've really got to ask women OUTSIDE of your salon to be more effective. There are plenty of women who do not care if you wear flip flops. It depends on the context and area as well. In the summer near a lake or beach down it's totally acceptable and stylish to wear flip flops. On hot summer days a trip the grocery store real quick in flip flops is no big deal. In other countries, places like the Philippines flip flops are a stable and everyone wears them all the time. But in the USA wearing flip flops all the time is not good, but occasionally on those hot days it is fine. If you have clean feet that look great you are going to be fine and women will not care. Just don't wear socks with them.

I live in Florida near the beautiful white sandy beaches of The Emerald Coast. MANY OF US ONLY WEAR FLIP-FLOPS! Well, on occasion we wear slip-on water shoes, skateboarding shoes, but often just go barefoot, and I'm 54. In other words, too old to care. Life has enough stress without worrying about a belt matching shoes, or whether others dig your kicks. Down here it's a drink in one hand with toes in the sand.

Affordable, durable and comfortable. Went on many trips across several continents in a single pair and they worked like a charm
