Its relieving to see a RUclipsr that believes in the significance of family relationships/support system as well.

when a woman accepts herself and her own flaws, she shines like a bright star in any group event. men who know this are also able to see that and that will encourage them approach women. the key here is how do you define devotion? some people think devotion is giving everything up for another person for the rest of your life, when in fact, it's the opposite. Truly, a woman who accepts herself will always honor another male with respect, and if that male does the same in return. all those imperfections will then be a non issue. in fact, it will help the relationship move forward and deal with everything that comes their way.

no wonder we don't accept ourselves, all big industries bombard us with commercials and fashions telling us to buy this, buy that, look like this or dress like that. There are people who hate their body or even do surgeries to look like god knows what famous singer, to increase their butt or tits or nose.
How can one hate themselves for being themselves and not someone else? That's madness. Own who you are and how unique you are, the hell you want to be someone else's copy?

I love the saying "shame on my parents for who I was, shame on me for who I am".
A Major step in my changing perspective is when I finally accepted and was able to admit that up until now (39) my ENTIRE life has been controlled by fear. Needy ONEitis, fear of rejection. Self sabotage, fear of success and responsibility. Just fear, fear, fear. I've found, for me, almost every character defect and bad decision I've made in life was a plant that grew out of the soil of fear... That's not the end of the story, because I haven't mastered moving though it. But it's a step and a target.

Happy Bday to papa EiC. I used to be very self conscientious of a 15'' scar on my back from scoliosis surgery. Just like you I started lifting weights at 16. I remember going from about 170 to 198 my senior year of high school. I'm 220 now and still have a bit of body dysmorphia but it doesn't consume my thoughts. I gained a lot of confidence from weight lifting but it wasn't from my body image, it was from knowing that I set a goal and achieved it. The work that you put in is what people recognize. I still had a very hard time taking my shirt off in public. Later on in life I gained a lot of confidence from my responsibilities and just maturing over time. I realized you aren't going to please everyone and you shouldn't even necessary want to make everyone happy or like you. I realized that being yourself is the most important shit you can do in life. The people who accept you for that are more genuine and true to you as a friend as well.

I think that accepting things about yourself also means that you will begin seeing the beauty in other people instead of judging them. You see there "flaws" as unique and something that makes them special, not flawed. For instance, I crumble for a woman with face freckles. Its so visually attractive to me. But, what if in the back of her mind, she falsely believes it to be a fault or a flaw?

Slowly going through all your videos, loving them all. But this one really struck home, thanks to your dad. A boy needs a father in his life to show him how to be strong, how to be a man. The biggest disaster we are facing in our society are all the fatherless boys. I see it in my own sons - maybe their father wasn't ideal (who is?) but having their father in their life has been key to their emotional well being.

Growing up short with a negative ape index and small hands definitely had me self-conscious for a very long time but when I got into powerlifting after skateboarding, I got really really strong, and so did my hands, even to the point of doing one arm pull ups and one-arm push-ups, even doing push-ups from just two fingers on each hand, definitely has given me a lot of confidence and building up a lot of leg muscles and back muscles also gave me a lot of confidence but what helped me the most when it came to keeping my head up was improving my style and changing my mindset, because having muscles is great but without personality and without a strong mind, they are just for show and that is not enough. You gotta know yourself and trust yourself. I tell people, walk with intention-speak with intention-act with intention as it'll surely boost your confidence, and others will see you as confident.

hey man ive been dealing with hair loss. its a hard road i never realised what it was like for guys going through this. truth is when i was younger i never ever thought anything different about bald dudes. Baldness causes alot of insecurities and stuff. but straight up ive realised the only thing i really ever valued men by was there financial status. nothing in life really matters and tbh if ur gunna be insecure about being bald u gotta realise that everyone has something they are insecure about. when u get over becoming bald youll just be worried about something else 'wrong with you'
chase your dreams. get that degree like im doing right now!. learn to sail or whatever get some skills bro. BEING BALD DOES NOT DEFINE WHO YOU ARE. YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS IN LIFE DEFINE WHO YOU ARE.
people always say michael jordan was the greatest to ever play. no on ever says lebron has better hair.,
get over yourself and stack that cash. MEN ARE STEEL BE HARD.

I think at the end of the day there are things we can't change and we have to decide what we are going to do about it. I think an honest accounting of one's qualities would be a useful exercise - list them all out, positive and negative and do an overall balance. Change the things you can, accept the things you can't, and appreciate the good that you have. Everybody has their own mix and that is what makes us valuable to the world, because we can contribute something different to the world than other people. That's why it is BS to value yourself by how similar you are to others - your differences are precisely why you ARE valuable.
Talking to others about your flaws seems to help - the more you give others the chance to accept or reject you the more you find out they accept you anyway, and contrary to popular thought I think that other people's acceptance of you is a valuable step in learning to accept yourself.
If you have this thought that rattling around in your brain that people won't accept you because of x and you test it out in the real world and find it is not a big deal for people, they accept it, then you can accept it too.
Also, don't make it hard by looking for people to accept you who clearly won't. E.g. if you have right wing views, then don't beat yourself against a brick wall trying to be accepted by left leaning people, or vice versa, you may as well male it easy for yourself. If you have scars don't try to get people to accept you who hate scars. That'll just male it hard for you.
In the end, the reality is that NOBODY cares about your insecurities. You are the only person who cares about it. We are all hoping that others think highly of us and we don't have time to really analyse people to see if we accept them or not. Acceptance is the default. I didn't have sex until I was 23 and I can't believe I let that hold me back. I felt I should've had sex in high school or university like everyone else, and I didn't want girls to find out because that would undermine my success, I thought. People thought I was a stud but I hadn't even had sex and I was ashamed of it. In hindsight it was ridiculous but it was real for me at the time. What helped me was talking to some people on a self-development course and finding out other people's histories and that nobody cared. Then when I had sex it was different to what I expected (aka the movies) and I couldn't believe that this was what I had tortured myself over. what a waste of time.
If you are self-conscious about something, stop focusing on yourself.and focus on others. Because nobody really cares.about your insecurities, they just want you to accept and validate them. Even people.who invalidate others, they just want to be validated themselves

You know you're dealing with someone who loves cars when he puts the video on hold to look at a car passing by.

I've always found myself living my life for other people. That is doing what they want and never doing what I want. Mother, girlfriend, or anyone really. Now that I'm older and most of my family has passed, I'm free. But I don't know where to begin. It's time to rebuild. What do I do now to have a good life?

I really like your channel ... You have some awesome advice. This video reminds me of all the Psoriasis treatment commercials put out by the pharmaceutical companies while I'm watching the world news. The one that really stood out to me, was the one where this "attractive" guy and this lady were at a salad bar and the lady gave him a look like she was into him, then she noticed where he had Psoriasis on his elbow and then she gave him one of those grossed out looks and left the scene. I seen this commercial months ago, long before I found your channel and I couldn't help but thinking if someone didn't want to be with me because of a little Psoriasis on my elbow then I sure as hell wouldn't want to be with them ... sorry for the rant, I just had to put that out there.

Vitiligo is cool as fuck! I'm sorry if anybody made you feel like shit for it. There's quite a few people out there that find it really pretty but I could see how its kinda hard to tell what people actually are thinking if theyre just staring.

Happy birthday to your dad Richard! I'm curious, with your company and your videos it's very clear that you like helping people on a deeper level and I'm wondering how long you've been like that. I see many similarities with your thought processes, background with that of my own (I'm 44) but I'm more than a few years behind on the success scale than you are. when you were younger did you like helping people and how or when did that part of your personality develop?

For me its just about giving, building community and sharing experiences that I think men would benefit from. Also love the entertainment aspect of cars too obviously.
