I Flipped the Pokemon Type Chart Completely and made EVERYTHING do the opposite! Fire is super effective on water, grass super effect on fire, etc! Then we pick our team from random starters and battle

Next video, flip the type chart (not reverse). The difference would be hilarious, like electric would be immune to ground, and normal and fighting immune to ghost. It would also be quite funny, specially after this video, the mind games.

Pokemon Unbound has this exact gym leader. Normal with all typing flipped. Only ghost is super effective against him, but that goes the flip side and my Gengar could only do so much.

Grass isn't bad either.
@@airam1721 If you need EVs in that, Dresco, the first gym town is actually the easiest place to grind them, since the trainer house has a trainer for all 6 stats, each only running a team that gives one type of EV

In my opinion if the mod allows then the immunities should get reversed. What I mean to say is that we know normally ground is immune to electric but in this format electric should be immune to ground rather than it being super effective against ground and likewise for the other immunities. I think that would make the whole reversing thing more correct and interesting. Well anyways loved the video idea, keep up the good work man❤️.
Actually, if the trend here is that every effectiveness is effectively is reciprocal, so 1/4x becomes 4x or 2x becomes 1/2x, then 0x would become 1/0x, which, in most scenarios, is infinity. The reverse of doing no damage should just be doing infinite damage.

It doesn't resist Grass knot and it isn't weak to Water either. Dragon/Ground is neutral to both since Dragon normally resists both & Ground is normally weak to both

For this format anything with very few resistances normally is great. Normals are very good and so are mono-psychics. My problem with this format is that things like ghost which are immune to normal suddenly become weak to it, however, nothing gains immunities they exclusively lose them. There just wouldn’t be a good way to arbitrarily assign immunities. Normal and ghost both lose their immunities to weaknesses. But nothing gains an immunity from something it was formerly weak to. Interesting concept tho and great pokemon showdown format

An idea for a then we fight. Both people catch pokemon that satisfy the conditions for the daily pokedoku. Whoever gets a better score on pokedoku with their caught pokemon gets a perk.

Fun fact, there is a way that you can win 100% of the time, if this was in scarlet or violet, if you use a dragonite +6 max attack tera normal no pokemon can live one extreme speed, so if you're faster tha other +2 priority you win the only way to counter this would be, idk focus sash counter or destini bond, but without preparation you will always lose to this. (This is nearly impossible but its funny what can happens when you invert the type chart, cuz now no type resist normal)
Even regirock with 200 defense and 100 hp gets killed by that

In inverse battles normal typing is straight up godly: It has only one weakness in ghost (which is weak to normal as well), and there are no defensive typings that resist its stabs.
He should do the same thing with Don so Dylan could finally win against him

He said immune to water, which is true because of Water Absorb.
Imagine a Psychic Pokemon whose special move/ability is that whenever it’s on the field the type super effective moves are reversed. This could also be extended to making attack moves reliant upon the Pokémon’s respective physical/special defence, speed being the pokemons HP, Defence to be based on attack and Speed and HP being reversed.
It basically acts as a way to empower slow tanks Pokemon similar to trick room, make quick Pokemon into tanks and but where your knowledge of Pokemon type matchups and thinking outside the box is critical. This would be more risky but way more rewarding.
I’d call the move/ability Inverse World and I think it would be suited to Pokemon like Giritina and Malamar

This was a battle mode in I think Black and White called Inverse battles. It makes things like Ice, Grass and Bug super strong because of the number of weaknesses they have and the number of types that resist them

When I was a young little guy, I used to exclusively use ember on Misty's Starmie because the sound it made felt like it hit harder than the normally effective noise, I got quite a lot of burns, but even more losses.

Fun fact: Dark/Psychic has no resistances, so picking Malamar would result in a pokemon with no weaknesses, 2 resistances to fairy and psychic and a 4x resistance to bug.

Kind of wish the immunities swapped, so Electric would be immune to Ground, or Ground would be immune to Flying. Partially because it would be super interesting, but mostly to see their heads explode.
