MAIN MEAL??? Is that what you get offered in FIRST CLASS???? "Back in the day" (50s) you had a PROPER MEAL. A waiter came around and took your reservation for the Dining Car. Beautiful comfortable chairs a table with a table cloth with knife fork spoon and plates and condiments. Then the waiter came around to take your order and then served your drink and then served your MEAL a REAL MEAL (Meat and Veg with Gravy) and Dessert. Watch 'The Elizabethan' about the London to Edinburgh steam train..... But wait a moment.... Didn't they have a 'cut down' version of this and then the EXCUSE was COVID & BREXIT.... Thankfully I had that wonderful era.

Did you also make use of the LNER first class lounge at Kings Cross ?
My wife and I recently travelled from Edinburgh to Dundee on first class (our first time ever) and loved the experience. For some rreason it was less than a tenner extra for the both of us, over standard class (with our railcard) .. so it was too good an offer not to take it.
Good luck with your YT channel

Thank you for your comment! I didn't visit the LNER first class lounge at King's Cross, I didn't have enough time to find out the location of the lounge, so i gave up and took the train directly.

Why? The sound of you belching after your tea-cake at 9.33 was the point at which I finally gave up on this.

The onboard catering these days is not a patch on what it used to be. I remember travelling to Newcastle back in the mid 1980s and having a wonderful full English breakfast.

The train started from King's Cross station, but when I headed to King's Cross, I passed through St Pancras station, so i 'd like to share more footage to audience.

Not much information. How much was it? When did you book? Rather pointless to be honest.
